This is getting crazy. First Batman, then Wonder Woman, now Flash? *groan* What is Warner trying to do, pull off their own version of Avengers with only the second film?

 

I read a rumor a while back that Robin was going to be in it too.

 

Yea it's unconfirmed, but I have seen several reports stating Nightwing is in the movie.

 

So who isn't in the movie?

Kingdom Come is a mature, thinking, well-plotted, and magnificently-drawn graphic novel, which therefore means it cannot be made into a movie unless bastardised beyond the point of recognition.

 

Not gonna happen but that would awesome!

Roughly how many of the actors cast look like 50-something versions of the characters? None, would you say?

 

If it is kingdom come it makes sense why the didn't cast Kate Beckersail.

They don't need to be old to borrow the story.

 

What, and meet with the astonishing success that Rises had with borrowing Knightfall, No Man's Land, and Dark Knight Returns and making some ungodly Frankenstein's monster out of them by trying to shoehorn them into the Nolanvese? No thanks. Grabbing Diana's arc from Kingdom Come could be interesting, but I wouldn't want B/S to look like a Slowpokeking fan video snipping parts of good JL stories and slapping them together For The Cool. Not in a million years. Not after Rises.

 

Yeah that idea was almost on par with Beckinsale as Wonder Woman and Brainiac in terms of untenable.

 

Honestly, it may just come down to Superman and Batman bitching at each other for 2 hours and 20 minutes about how sucky their lives are and compete with who can be the most dour...
