So CO We need a name.

Since we are an official FF, we need a chapter name. For example:

Denver is the Rocky Mountain FanForce,

Waco Tx, is The Bounty Hunter's guild,

Phoenix is Tatooine Jedi Acamdey,

etc.

We need a name now we are official. I have some ideas...

Rebel Training ground- Romeo-2 Delta-2

or...

Carida Training Center...

I dunno about the training thing, but the military thing is good since we're right between 4 military bases and most of us are affiliated in some way with the military...

 

Well the Rocky Mountain FanForce applies to all of colorado Fanforce chapters. And I had thought that we had already decided that is what we are, but I have nothing against choosing a name to differentiate us from the Denver peeps.

And I like the Carida thing... or how about something like The Imperial Academy... or Carida Academy. Since there is an academy in town...

 

I think The Imperial Academy sounds great. It kinda sounds like Air Force Academy, but it's Imperial I like it.

There is a Garrison Carida in the 501st. I would discourage that just to avoid confusion.

Is it possible to incorporate something Colorado Springs into it? The Academy is a nice idea. How about Pikes Peak? Garden of the Gods? NORAD? (threat detection, or early warning complex). Mountains? Snow? There is always the Rodeo.

What was the name of the mountain where they were breeding clones in the Thrawn books?

 

Mount Tantiss is the name of the mountain in the zahn trilogy

 

Its Tantiss. Mt. Tantiss.


Is the sith acamedy open? for incorperation of the Acamedy and sithy ways...

But i do like the idea of NORAD...maybe we could build on that...

Anything related to Protectors (besides Jedi-more technology related...) or large scale warning ideas?

IMHO, most of the names people choose are pretty dumb. Honestly. No one in PHX calls ourselves the "Tatooine Jedi Academy". It sounded cool at the beginning, but is kinda useless. We all just go by PFF or Phoenix Fan Force.

KISS simple is usually the best way to go.

I think maybe we're split on this subject. It's been stated (and I kind of agree), that the City Name FanForce is kind of bland and we'd like to color it up a little bit.

Besides the fact I'd like something a little shorter (if possible) than Colorado Springs FanForce. And if it's not shorter, I'd like it a little more starwarsized.

But that's my two cents. If anyone disagrees, please, speak up.

I do stuff with the Pikes Peak Squad of the Mountain Garrison of the 501st. We should pick something else.

 

I do like Gwen's idea: Pikes Peak Imperial Acamedy. It has a nice ring to it...

I don't dislike Pikes Peak Imperial Academy...but it does wander over towards the 501st's name, and it's still pretty long. I'd like to keep it a little shorter if possible. (if you disagree, say so!)

Something shorter would help. Pikes Peak Fan Force is good It's short, and it also implies the area where we come from
