I know Sylvia has her home open for a get-together this month possible, but I think it would be nice just hang out watch a few movies and talk

If you plan a really exciting event (preferably during a weekend) I may just drive out to London for it (and probably with a bunch of Toronto folk in tow...) get working on big plans! ;-)

Half of you wanted to stay at my place while the rest of us got pizza.

You know how much my aunt would have freaked if she had come home and found a bunch of strangers in the house, and me nowhere to be found?

 

I have an announcement to make.

After careful deliberation, Erin and I have decided that it may be best for me to head out to BC as early as two weeks from now, to get everything ready, and she could come as soon as school is finished. A decision will likely be made within the next 48 hours, and I'll let you guys know as soon as I have more information.

It's official. I'm moving on the 18th. I'll be spending the last days with Erin because I won't see her for a while, so the last time I log on to talk to y'all will probably be the 15th or 16th. I'm sorry.

 

we'll miss you! moving really sucks. hopefully you'll find some way to keep in touch with us.

 

I gave my two weeks notice today. The Manager and many of my friends are taking it hard.

It looks certain that my position will be offered to Jim. I told him not to take it. It's not worth the headache. The guys on top keep cutting the amount of hours I can schedule, and then get on my case when not all the jobs get done. We employ donkeys! These guys need time to get stuff done!

I'm now a retired Fruit Nazi.

 

Chris, you must do what is best for you of course, but you'll know that we'll miss you.
You ought to work at the Chinese grocery store we have in a mall near here - you wouldn't believe how hard they work and how fresh everything is. We bought a HUGE box of strawberries there (6 or 7 times the size of the ones you were selling for $2.99) and there wasn't one bad one in the entire box, which I couldn't believe. But I digress, forgive me.

Anyway, you guys should really get together before Chris goes.

 

Actually, they were $1.97. We're now selling them for $2.99 though. Did I tell you what happened with the shipment?

EVERY DAMNED BOX OF STRAWBERRIES HAD AT LEAST ONE MOLDY ONE IN IT, AND I ORDERED HUNDREDS OF THEM! I HAD TO GO THROUGH THEM ONE BY ONE AND PICK THE MOLDY ONES OUT.

But, all that doesn't matter anymore. On Saturday, I'll be walking out of that store for the last time, and I intend to tell those donkeys who worked for me exactly what I think of them on my way out.

I gave my two weeks notice today, and word spread like wildfire. By the end of the shift, most employees in the store knew. A lot of them seem pretty upset. I've made some good friends at that store. Even leaving the job itself is depressing. I allowed myself to get way too attached to that store and that department. I just know I'll be wondering how the department is doing long after I move.

I remember how much it saddened me to move from Mount Forest and my job there, and I know it will be a hard thing to move from London when School's over.

 

moving sucks. We definately have to get together... how many of us are actually in London though?

 

Currently Justin, Janet, Sylvia, Chris and Paul are in London. Matt and I coming up if you plan something is a possibility. Yup Chris, you told me about the strawberries.

 

I know its mothers day, but is anyone doing anything this weekend?
