    I am totally comfortable with recasting and I think everyone else should be, too. It would be nice if our Big 3 were in good shape, but they're not. That shouldn't hold the artistic integrity of Star Wars back.

    I don't know how much TPTB will use EU material, but if they do use any, maybe even one of these "rogue" characters is a former Yuuzhan Vong warrior who has adapted into the greater galaxy and becomes a help to our heroes in a moment of need.
