I love it that everything else is going to hell.. yet the ugly banner ad for "Meeting singles in your area" still works up there. I'd also like to add that I didn't break the internet this time. Anyone find it odd that Griff returns, then the internet breaks shortly after? Hmmmm.

Hey guys, we should just go back to the old UBB board if problems like this are gonna happen.

 

New Jersey is working, New York City isn't, and Philadelphia has the banner from Chicago. Batting .333

 

Honestly, I don't notice a difference in page loads with my wimpy little dial up connection - it's about the same.
It does look a little UBB around here tho, and I feel naked without my icon.

N-e-whos, I'm sure Admin will do a good job on getting everything up and running... so I'm taking the night off from the boards.

Remember that everything has been switched over to something not hosted on tfn, so if it's just a banner for a region, it's still working.

EDIT: Oh and General_Rieekan: The blackout last year was not caused by a lightning strike at Niagara Falls. I live here. It was sunny and clear that day. It actually orignated in Ohio. One of the utilities there made an error and it caused a feedback loop. Went around Lake Erie in a clockwise fashion.

New York & Philly have the generic TFN Northeast banners which I think is the reason why. But I can't access New York at all, but Philly works fine.

 

I may actually have to spend time with my wife and son. They'll be shocked. Good luck with all the technical hoo ha.
