Tucson Website Domain: Everyone's Input Needed!

Hey folks,

Unfortunately, it looks like we won't be able to get the domain tucsonfanforce.com back.

In this case, we need a new domain name. Here are some suggestions. You are welcome to suggest new ones, or add your support of one of these:

tucsonfanforce.org
tucsonfanforce.net
tucsonff.com/net/org
tucsonstarwars.com/net/org
starwarstucson.com/net/org

... and any variations on the "tucson" + "fanforce" + "starwars" theme. Note that tff.com/net/org is taken also.

We need to decide this fairly soon so we can get our site up and public.

I'd prefer either something like:

tucsonfanforce.net

or

tff.net

Like I said, tff.net is taken. However, I too am leaning towards tucsonfanforce.net.

.org would be neat too ... we are sort of an organization, rather than a network. IMO.

I really like Old Pueblo Fan Force better than Tucson but that MHO.

 

I'll let this run to Monday next week. Whatever the consensus is then, we'll get. I'll pay for now. If there is no consensus, I get to pick.

Registering the domain for 1 year is $9.95. If you wanna contribute, just bring a buck or two to the next meeting. Absolutely not required though.

Any other folks want to add their thoughts to this thread? I'd especially like to hear the CR's comments.

I must say I'm disappointed in a few people for not taking the time to stop in here.

Anyway, tucsonfanforce.org it is.

I'll buy the domain tonight. It will take a day or two to be set up, and then we'll have the site running.
