Wash, DC Website thread

I was just wondering what the statud is for the website. I don't know what's been discussed about it or what its status is, but if whoever's working on it needs a hand setting it up, I'd be happy to help out. I'm not a professional web developer by any means, but it'd be cool to put in what I can.

Nah, we can't turn over the website to anyone else. It would violate the slacker rule in our ByLaws.

 

But Jeff shouldn't everyone be given the chance to prove that they can blow off deadlines and accomplish nothing in the same amount of time?

The Galactic Senate.

But Roger, Val and Heather have already achieved perfection in slacking. To improve upon that would un-make our existence. Up would become down, black would become white, dogs and cats living together, a website actually created. We would un-make the world.

There's nothing really to help with. We need to get the old meeting and event summaries up, which is really tedious and annoying. And then the member profiles, which we're about to just put on hold for now since the list of members keeps changing.

Heh, just give me a few months. I'm still in the honeymoon phase with you guys.

 

And you haven't even seen us! Wow! Though, if you were at Farpoint, you saw us - and you still love us. Poor, poor thing..... But if you weren't at Farpoint... poor, poor thing....

(I'm way too lazy to remember who said they found our fliers, besides Chrissy - after all, I talked to her!)

 

Actually, I was at Farpoint, but I don't think I saw any of you. I wasn't there for very long. Just late that Saturday hanging out with some of my friends. At some point around midnight, we all decided to drive around Baltimore. If any of you saw a somewhat aged looking Elvis (inagine what Elvis would've looked like if he hadn't died) with two other people, I was the tall guy. Anyway, I picked up one of your fliers from the table and the rest is history.

 

Wow, the fliers worked for once. Usually most people join because of dirty rumors and a morbid curiousity.
