There're enough TFN clones out there, we've got to be original.

And no one has the boards code except Snowball.

In the event that JC and FF Forums are no more, then we should consider trying to get one up. Unless it's too expensive. I don't know much about web sites and such.

And sorry for being pessimistic. I don't expect the Boards to close any time soon, but someone had ot bring it up. :)

I agree, it's a very popular website. The main thing is the Internet, which definately won't be going anywhere, at least for a very long time. As long as there's an Internet, I'm sure that there'll be a TF.N.

The Internet was a neo-classical religious movement that took place in 1997.

You guys have nothing to worry about, TFN isn't going anywhere anytime soon. And besides if and when the boards move it will be to a better place, somewhere where we can have more upgrades hopefully.

That sounds a lot like what they said RIGHT BEFORE they took the new 'grain storage facilities' and drove out of town.

Even if TFN eventually goes the way of the Dodo bird FanForce will still be around. As long as FanForce is still around the Boston Rebels will always have a home.

Even if FanForce as a global organization goes belly up, I'm not letting the Rebels go with it if I can do anything about it.

TF.N needs to get rid of these crappy snowboards and get a vB.. its 50x more powerful and alot nicer i think.. and unless snowboards are free, it's worth the price..

and also, if the Rebels wanted to have a forum where the admins would post things privatly about the site and updates and layouts and what not, i could provide forums for that most likely..

anyways iom back from my long weekend of being stupid, i have a nice story, go read it..

vB is one of my favorite board styles. The subforum feature would work great with all of the FanForce boards.

And the developer, Kier is a great guy. He really puts a lot of effort into the system. So much that he somehow finds the time to actively admin at a number of vb boards.

Snow boards are free and plus Snowball hosts all of TFN. If someone better could accomdate the bandwidth TFN needs every month I'm sure they would have made the move long ago. But until that time we have to stick with what we have.

No complaints here. The anti-flood system gets a little annoying at time, but just think of the servers crashing after 15 minutes without it in the JCC.
