FF:SA Wedding Telegrams : To the future Mr and Mrs Tyken Blade

I'm printing all these out tomorrow lunch time and taking them to the reception for the groomsmen to read out everyone! So keep 'em coming!

 

Due to Justifier now doing the video of this event, we will be leaving earlier and I wont be able to down load everything tomorrow (you should see my schedule!! ) So I will copy and paste all wishes till midnight and after that Im sorry.

The groomsmen will be reading this lot out, using net names!!!

 

Got it guys! Just checking in to get any more. Heading out in an hour! Whoa! Best go and get ready!

 

Well, yesterday was amazing. From the arrival of the groom and groomsmen in 4 Drift Racing cars roaring into Carrick Hill, and them striding across the hills toward the gathering of friends and family. The Groomsmen in the Matrix inspired coats and glasses lead by the Groom Tyken looking very much like Van Helsing in his leather buckled long coat and carrying a very ornate broadsword.

The roaring of a V8 Commodore heradled the arrival of the bride, lead down the path to the gathering by her mother and father. Her mother having checked herself out of hospital only hours before after emergency bowel surgery on Tuesday night. Her father pushed the brave woman in a wheelchair as nothing was going to stop her missing her daughters wedding. Behind her three bridesmaids dressed in Long black two piece outfits with flowing georgette sleeves and long black boots, carrying red lillies came. Then came the bride. Dressed in a long read gown, corsetted and laced up down the back and split up one side high to reveal thigh high red spike heeled boots! A red bustle like train trimmed in black followed her, as her long black hair fluttered in the cool breeze. As she arrived the song "The Reason" by Hooberstank rang out around us all. Emotions were running high and the Groom led the way this his obvious tears of joy.

"One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them" (LOTR) was only part of the moving words read out and the words of true love read to each other. Most the gathered were obviously moved.

After signing of the register and family photos (many of the ladies touching up their make up! ) We headed to the Sporting Car Club Of SA on King William Road to celebrate.

The Tables were draped in black table cloths with red place cards, a white candle and a black rose on each space. The centre of each table adorned with a candlabrae that reminded me of a dark tree branch adorned with crystals on the tips. The Bridal table was on a stage and as we arrived teh dry ice machines were ed up and the room filled with an errie mist as the coloured lights shone down on the tables (each table either red or blue). The roar of teh Drift cars told us they had arrived and the bridal party entered via a side door, minus the bride and groom. Some were puzzled, others had noticed the large garage door to the side of stage. Moments later it opened and the Black Commodore roared into the room, parking beside the stage. The Groom got out and walked around to open the door and help his new Bride out to the cheers and whistles of all.

The night was brilliant, from the smorgasboard food and the wedding cake (pyrimid mud cake with two dragons on top) for desert. Each member of the bridal party made a speach (ladies included) and the SAFF telegrams were talked about, but due to time constraints, were put at the guest book table for guests to read. We danced, laughed and cried in what can only be explained as the most perfect wedding for Tyken & Mrs Blade.

They left at midnight and a howl of cheers, whistles and well wishes. All in all, a memorable day and night.
