When thinking of brains absorbing info, I am reminded of the Far Side comic where the guy in school raises his hand and says, "May I be excused? My brain is full." I should try that one of these days...

I flipped through Agents of Chaos again - no Wedge. He'll be back though.

    Scene: Air Traffic Control Tower
**General Salm enters carrying cup of caf**
    Salm: Who's up right now?
    Lieutenant: Just Janson, sir.
Salm: Uh-oh.. *starts to put cup down*
**X-Wing zooms by tower at window level, shaking the tower and its occupants. Salm's coffee spills on him**
    Salm: MAVERICK!!!
**X-Wing waggles its wings, then flies off**

    Wedge Rulz!

Really hate to bust yall's bubble, but MAS isn't writing in the SW universe last I heard. Check out the details at his website....I'll see if I can find a link.

Sadly, you're right Corell. MAS is not writing SW anymore. However, Aaron Allston is, so that's what we're excited about.

Actually, I think he said he wasn't scheduled for any Star Wars books but he'd do one if they asked. I might be wrong though.

    Yeah, that's what he said.

I'm going over to friends house tomorrow to watch the trilogy!!! I hope I don't scare anyone when I cheer for Wedge... heh heh heh.

Wedge Forever, Fel between 2-4 PM Greenwich Mean Time on February 29.

    Janson/Klivian '08

(Oh, and in case anyone was wondering, that was Janson who kneecapped the guy waving a gun outside of the White House on Wednesday. He was visiting Tycho and Wedge and decided to aid the Secret Service.)

    Greetings.

Upon recent seasonal re-viewings of the OT, it has come to my attention that *Wedge kicks arse.* Old school and seriously, and plainly too; he got no Force to help him, no blue ghosts to advise him. He just got skillz and wits.

They don't make them like that too often!

Perhaps you-all could help me with a (mis)perception of mine that's been around since 1983 or so: did Wedge gain weight between ANH and ESB, then lose it again for ROTJ?
Or was it just the context of ESB -- the lighting in that snowspeeder cockpit, or a thicker flightsuit due to the cold environment? Back in the day, I actually thought it was a different actor than Denis, until the credits rolled. Am I alone in this perception...?

First of all, congrats to CA on getting special name features for becoming the UK's FanForce representative.

As for Wedge, it does look like he gained weight between ANH and TESB. My guess is that that is an illusion caused by the smaller snowspeeder cockpit, heavier flight suit, and increased G's (they are in the atmosphere, after all). I do not think he gained any real weight.

    Wedge 4ev-a, Fel nev-a!
