The Wraiths were pilots, they did some funky stuff as pilots, so I consider them elligable to the pilot's hall of fame. Besides, we never read a duel between the Wraiths and Rogues so we don't know exactly how good they fly.
I think it was either Janson or Wedge, maybe even Face that admited they werent near as good as Rogue Squadron. Of course with Wedge leading them they are much better, especially with Janson helping out. But when its no Wedge, or Janson then the squadron is no where near as strong. Good, but not Rogue Squadron good. In fact no Squadron is better than Rogue Squadron, thats the point they are the elite.

I agree with corran9 those would be the best flight leaders. I add Ace Azeemen to the hall. I am not sure if any of you consider the SW games as canone but I do for most games. Some of the games I call into qustion like Masters of Ter'a's K'a'si,Racer and Demolition. I also add Nym from Starfighter.This guy has one mean bomber.

Corran is better than Wes and Hobbie. And there are only 3 flight leaders 1. Wedge 2. Tycho 3. Corran Thats if you dont want to include Luke in the picture.

I am talking about the new ps2 game SW starfighter. It takes place during the events of EP1.You play as one of three characters. Rhys Dallows,Nym,and Vana Sage.
wedge fan signing in He is the coolest pilot and i love him in all the x wing novels they are the best even though im only up to solo command i cant wait to get up to date with all of them . I love the relationship between him and Wes its the funniest ever with the jokes and everything.
Ah, but for the flight leaders I would not split up Wingmen so I had to have Hobbie/Janson and Tycho/Wedge as wingmates. That is why the two non-flight leaders are in a seemingly "lower" position. Also, I would probably put Luke as a 13th Rogue because he does not need a wingman.

I was one of those folks who wouldn't pick up an X-Wing book because the movie characters weren't the central figures. I admit it...I was a friggin' moron! The X-Wing series is hands down the most interesting and engrossing collection of novels in the EU.
