Just her card to access her bank account, no Credit involved.....highly discouraged here.......you earn then you spend...
'credit' is not the type where you spend what you don't have in this case. It's more just a term randomly used. But I agree with you there.
Shes very proud of herself, post Christmas sales. She had $200 and came home with 8 outfits and swimwear and still have $85 left! So she did very Well!!! Her boyfriend though.....$185 on two pairs of socks and a T Shirt....as he INSISTS on brand names......Yeah, image. Much prouder of my daughter! Me? New PJ's
I like your daughter's sense. My niece is the same way, and gently (or not so gently, depending on the person) mocks those who insist on wearing expensive brands BECAUSE OMG IT'S THE LATEST THING EVERYONE'S WEARING IT SO I MUST HAVE IT EVEN THOUGH IT'S JUST A T-SHIRT.
Very proud of her, she's logical and like 'op shopping'. Has taught a few of her friends to do it, and they love it!! But her boyfriend is an only child and has been given everything he wants over the years.....so when the Real World hits him I am sure he is in for a rude shock!!!
So do you folks down under really say "let me get out me EFTPOS card so I can pay for that" or "I'll keep me EFTPOS card in my wallet for safekeeping"? Because that's a mouthful!
Slanguage sounds like something you would use while decapitating someone. "Take that you eftpos!" *thud*
Sounds like what you would say once you have realized you spent all the money you had in the bank and ripped the eftpos card in half.
