Week 3 Recap and Information

Nominations, as with every week, are due in today by noon board time.

There are 6 housemates yet to nominate.

Whether or not they get their nominations in by 3, I'll be putting the next housemates up for eviction. Also, since week 1, Dashy and myself have agreed that this week will be a double eviction.

One housemate will be voted off based on the regular rules. The other will be evicted based on their points -- whoever has the lowest points after this week's task will be evicted tomorrow, too.

So, hopefully everyone finished their tasks up for this past week. I'll be posting points for this week later today, as well as who's up for eviction based on votes.

Also, as I said last week: don't nominate and no points this week. As simple as that.

Here are this week's earned points and reasons for why they were earned.
Main Task:

Smuggler: 11 points. 6 points for doing the task, but you didn't write at least 5 things per side on each housemate. But you did put effort into most of them. Also, 5 points for saying who you nominated.

Princess: 7 points. You were like Smuggler in the fact that you didn't have 5 comments on the dislikes side, but you had at least 5 for the likes side. You seemed to put effort into each one of them.

Seldon: 5 points. Again, like everyone before, not 5 things for everyone. You had only a few about each housemate compared to the rest; some of them only had one dislike. However, you did put some sort of creativity into them, so, you recieved a little extra credit.

Sebulba-X: 15 points. You did everything the task asked to be done. Plus, you did the bonus bit.

Terr_Mys: 12 points. Again, you did the 5 for each on everyone. But the nominating thing doesn't cut it fully.. so I gave you 2 points out of 5 since you didn't directly name them.

AYBABTU: 15 points. Again, you followed everything by the rules. Plus you did the bonus points bit.

Carmen: 14 points. You pretty much did 5 for everyone except two. Of course, the fact that you took the time to do them all is what matters. Plus you did the bonus points part.

I'd like to seriously thank everyone who's been contributing to the game thus far. It doesn't go unnoticed and I can tell who actually is into the game and isn't. It is much, much appreciated.

Don't forget about prizes this week, also. Most of you have earned enough to get one if you care to.

Also, I can now safely say who will be evicted based on points this week (since he's had no input in the game this week): Dark_Jedi_Kam. He'll be evicted tomorrow along with the other housemate who is voted off.

Well, he's got a busy job with the military plus a lot is going on that I don't think he expected to come across.

I wish he had the time to participate more, but eh, all things happen for a reason.

Hmm...I had 23 points at the end of last week, and I got 16 points this week, shouldn't that mean I have 39 points?

I knew I should've mentioned my noms by name, though. Dangit.

It's too late to do any of the tasks from week 3 now, right?

For the second week in a row, a bunch of unexpected things came up on Friday and Saturday so I didn't have much internet access/time, so I was unable to do the tasks... Grr.

Yes, I realize, it's my own fault for putting them off... I guess maybe I'll have to do this next week's task earlier.

 

I pretty much cut off tasks by Saturday night at midnight. If I have time to rate them I will on Sunday mornings, but with church and other things, I don't always. That's why I say Saturday is the last day for those things.

And it's time to see who's up for eviction this week.

Well, this week's an odd week.

Three people are up for eviction because the second place spot was tied. Heh.

So, up this week are: Smuggler, Sebulba-X and Kaine.

Also, don't forget: Kam will be evicted Monday due to the points eviction.

Quick question: are we allowed to cash in our points now? And if, say, I wanted a custom avatar...would I have it through next Sunday evening, or would I have to give it up Sunday morning?

 

It saddens me deeply that Aybabtu isn't up this week.


It was implied that i would be up, though. No surprise there.

Well gee when you wait until three hours before the deadline to explain the rules for a double eviction is kinda sucks for anyone who may be doing somethign on sunday morning.

And the double eviction was a surprise this week. Yeah, I mentioned it before and I don't believe many if any remembered it.

I'll explain the rules better when that week comes. And no, using points does not 'lower' your point ranking when it comes to this double eviction.
