    wow, it's another crazy one.

let's just take it one step at a time...

    1. let's come with the name of the station and the mascot.

    2. let's each come up with 50 albums - this won't be as hard as it looks, but we should have an order maybe so we don't have duplicates.

    3. figure out who is going to take what time slot - i'm assuming that morning, afternoon, etc. correspond to board time.

    4. come up with ideas for shows, interviews, etc.

then we can just take it from there. :D

    1. let's come with the name of the station and the mascot.

BBBC -- Big Brother Broadcasting Corp.

The mascot: BB-Beaker! He talks and even can get his own icon.

    2. let's each come up with 50 albums - this won't be as hard as it looks, but we should have an order maybe so we don't have duplicates.

All right. I'll start right away. But we should definitely do a couple of songs that have some relevance like "Get Free" (The Vines), and "Jealous Guy" (John Lennon).

    3. figure out who is going to take what time slot - i'm assuming that morning, afternoon, etc. correspond to board time.

I mostly start around NOW, this time (1:00 pm). Anything earlier is likely going to be a problem.

    4. come up with ideas for shows, interviews, etc.

We could do a Review Show, write some fake Interviews With (Real) Stars (I could do Billy Bob), do a stupid game in which someone has to Guess The Song By One Line Of Its Lyric, maybe an Obscure Song / Artist Corner (I could write something about George Formby) and a Facts About Stars thing, and a Gossip Column.

Just some ideas to get this thing going!

    great Casper!

i'm going to start working on my list of albums as well. i'm going to list L.P.s not singles just because that's what album makes me think of. but the vines "highly evolved and john lennon's "imagine" are definitely musts as well as deltron 3030.

i'll be in charge of most of the hip hop as longs as nobody objects :D

EDIT: and everybody can just come up with their lists on their own time (no order), if we have duplicates we'll just figure out replacements when we get there.

I call hard rock! And I can take the afternoon eastern time, which is in the am JC time, because it's the only time I can guarantee to be online. Guess that would make me the morning guy. Morning is usually done by a guy & girl, so anyone who's on in the morning JC time, and doesn't have a penis, you can join in :D

Hooray! Jurassic 5 kicks ass Tom! I was listening to them the other day. :)

I could do either the night or the late night since I'm always up really really late. I just don't know if I'll be staying up til 6 am anymore because I'm trying to get a better sleeping schedule and if I take the night shift I'd probably be a little late starting it. So...I can probably do either one I guess is my point and now I'm rambling and so forth. :)

So then we have (my suggestions):

    Possible title:

    BBBC (Big Brother Broadcasting Corp)

    Possible Mascot:

BB-BEAKER (maybe we can use his icon for the sock)

    Time Slots

    1. Morning 6 AM -- 12 PM (Board Time)

    Derek prefers this one

    2. Afternoon 1 PM -- 6 PM

    Tom prefers this one (1)

    Casper prefers this one

    Kerryn prefers this one (1)

    3. Night 6 PM -- 12 AM

    Tom prefers this one (2)

    Tashi prefers this one (1)

    Kerryn prefers this one (2)

    4. Late Night 12 AM -- 6 AM

    Tashi prefers this one (2)

    Ideas for shows

    - A Review Show

    - Write some (fake) Interviews With (Real) Stars (Or Whoever)

    - Do a stupid game in which someone has to Guess The Song By One Line Of Its Lyric

    - Maybe an Obscure Song / Artist Corner

    - A Facts About Stars thing

    - A Gossip Column

    - A Psychological Helpline or something similar

    - A Request Show

    ...Just some ideas I had.

What we need to get the JC interested is audience participation.

(They could send in things, requests, psychological problems, answers, news, et cetera via PM.)

I would prefer the 1pm to 6pm or the 6pm to midnight session.

And I get to claim the Vines!

Also, maybe someone could be a roving reporter for Community, or the other forums. Just a few paragraphs like "Well guys back in the studio it's all work, but out here in Community they're taking slacking to new heights..."

So, what exactly do we do. Just name a song and then what?

I get the fake interview thing, but I really don't see the point of "playing" the music.

Also, is there anyway to break up the shifts to less than 6 hours? That's going to be kind of difficult day in and day out.

Yeah, that'd be fun. He or she could interrupt whenever there's "news" to report, just blurbs and things or anything (couldn't make it any more vague).

    I'll update the TIME SLOTS.

I think you could do just one little thingy per day in your time slot -- or more, if you want. ("You" as in "We")

Nice, but you got the opposite of what I wanted! From 1pm to midnight board time is when I'm online.

I'd like to do the interviews with "rock stars".

Epic said that the 4 nominated houseguest have to host a daily show. Can both be done?

And I haven't a clue about my timeslot.

In actuality we don't even have to do the task. All we have to do is make a sock and have 50 people add it to their WUL.

But it'll be more fun to try and do it the hard way.
    :p

I think I just assumed that every house member would have to participate in one of the time slots every day. I was expecting to do something in my time slot each day so that doesn't really change anything for what I was expecting. I've been rambling a lot lately. I hope that all made sense. Actually, it doesn't matter if it makes sense to anyone else as long as it makes sense to me. Oooooookay...
