WEEKLY TASK #5

HMs,

Big Brother has noticed the love of music in the house, and this weeks task will put that love to good use. This week you guys will be running your very own BB Radio Station.

Features of the Radio Station must include:

- The Morning, Afternoon, Night and Late Shows (4 Main Threads)

HMs can work in pairs or by themselves (depending on time availability), as "host/s" of their respectuve show. What you include in your show is up to you! And be creative! (Other HMs can act as rawk stars being interviewed, don't just stick to music -- include movie reviews, comedy, talkback, etc etc etc)

As a further stipulation, all 4 Nominated Housemates this week must be either a host or co-host in one of the daily shows.

Also, HMs can act as "roving reporters", or any other radio persona instead of the actual hosts of the show, if you should so desire. And other threads can be made in relation to the station outside of the 4 "Daily Show" threads. In fact, the more the better!

Today is for prep, with the first show due tomorrow! The show will run for 3 days -- Wed, Thu and Friday.

The short preperation time is part of the challenge. No time extensions will be given.

Additionally, 400 different albums (50 per HM) must be submitted as the music to be used in Radio BB.

The ultimate challenge, like any other radio station, is to be successful. And that means gaining the support of your listeners. To do this, a Radio Station sock (either a "mascot" character or the name of the station, etc) must be created, and users will be able to add this sock to their "Watched Users" list (Until the end of the week, at least) to designate them being loyal supporters of the station. So, Community, only add the Station if you enjoy it!

Your task is for the Radio Station sock, by the end of the week, to have at least 50 Watched Users. (No socks allowed to vote; the Radio sock's password must be sent to me via PM)

Please decide how much of the 5500 points you want to wager on this weeks task. (You don't have to use any points yet, while the rewards are still being finalised)

In addition, the 50 users required is still acceptable, however, for every additional user over 50, you will recieve 10 points. So, if you get 60, you'll win the task, plus gain a BONUS 100 points!

With 40% wagered of your 5500 points wagered on this weeks task, you needed at least 50 users to add Beaker to their Watched Users List.

With a final tally of 60, you successfully complete the task, and win 200 BONUS point on top with 10 users over the required amount.

Wow.

 

That's not an easy feat... I think we've done an excellent job so far. We should choose what exactly we're going to do with these points so as many HM's as possible can enjoy the fruits of their labor.

 

What are our choices besides colors? Anything? I want something worth the points, I'm not sure if 2 or 3 thousand is worth it for 1 day of colors... a week, maybe...

2. Skip a Daily Task for 500

3. Everyone's a winner for 5000

4. Some fresh air and water for 100

5. Invite an outsider into the House for one day for 2000

6. Post outside the BB forum for one day for 4000

7. Buy someone who got kicked out back for 5000

8. Colours for the rest of our stay here for 4000
