Yeah I agree, but I really hope there isn't because the BB house right now has 223 topics and the index has exactly 223 links, so if there is any overlapping that means were missing threads.

Anyway, here goes...

 

Tom -- yeah, once you decide on the final 3 games, we can work out a scoring system for each of them.

I think the best way is probably to keep track of the win/loss records of all the games you play -- the winner will be the one who has the greatest winning percentage, overall, over the week. Everyone will be expected to have played at least 5 games of each of the 3 you choose. But you'll probably end up playing lots more than that! (Or should the minimum be raised to allow for better competition? 10 games minimum?)

Ok, here's the points system for Scrabble: (You should go ahead with it -- Scrabble rules!)

When you submit a games result (screenshot, chat transcript, winner), please state how many players there were for that particular game -- if 2 play, only the winner gets rewarded. If 3 play, the 2nd place getter gets a half point. If 4 play, the 2nd place getter gets a point and the 3rd place getter half a point. 2 points = a "win" on your win/loss chart.

Unless there's a better points system, that could work.

And you'll learn to love Yahoo Games, Capser. Oh yes.

I've never played chess in my life. Maybe that's a bit of uneven competition.

Oh, and for the task, you can only ever play against eachother -- no outside players.

As a rule, we'll make it whoever starts the game room is in charge of posting the chat transcript and final screenshot. (Make a new thread for the posting of game results)

EDIT: And I guess I'll take the Cloning / IVF debate if no one else wants it. I have pretty one-sided views on Evolution and Legalisation of Drugs that I don't think I could seriously start a debate on it.
