Weekly Task #6 - Let's Organize!

I'll do the book thread then. It'll do me good to read about something other than music theory or history.

 

Here's the thing...

I think we should do all the discussion threads, and try our best to play the games as much as we can, but we should wager a very small amount of our points like 5 or 10% or something.

It's just going to be too hard to coordinate the games, and especially with B'omarr away on vacation this week it will be impossible for us all to meet the requirement.

So, I say we should just not stress over it relax this week.

We've actually talked a bit in our shed about this.

What do you say if we wager 0% and just take it really easy? The Games section no one feels like doing, rightfully so, and it's very hard to co-ordinate, anyway.

The Serious section is just debating and discussing, and that's not going to be much fun because interest is low and we'll hardly be able to have some simple conversations. To keep a discussion alive we really don't want to have is going to be a drag.

I just can't see the fun in this. What do you say?

EDIT: And we already have 10,000 points or something.

 

Sounds good to me, but we could wager 1% just for the hell of it.

And I do still think we should start all the threads just to put them out there. If people want to discuss those issues they can, but nobody will be forced to.

And the film and book ones could be fun.

 

So if we don't wager any points, we don't actually have to do anything?

 

That's true.

Anyone who wants to do it anyway, can do it of course. But just to take the "burden" off of it, we could take it really easy.

But 1%? Oh, why the hell not. Bunch of decadent dandies.

 

We could bet it all, and still not do it and it wouldn't bother me much.

So 1% it is!

Exactly. We've said it before, and it's incredibly corny (but true): the reward is getting to know each other, not colours for your name.

You know, I've said it before, but it's so true I'll say it again. When I got into this, I thought it was going to suck, but I've enjoyed it so much. I'm very glad I got this opportunity to get to know you guys.

Yes, it is very true. The past 6 weeks have been the most fun I've had on these boards.

I suppose we should wait to see what everyone else says. The thing is that B'omarr being on vacation makes it literally impossible for us to win this task. So 0-1%, somewhere in that range, is the only wager that makes sense.

Plus, it gives us a well deserved break.

 

Hahahaha! My little sister wants to play scrabble with me! This should be interesting.

 

Yeah, we've worked hard. Especially the MM was a monster. And then the Radio Shows...
