Have you seen "Waking Life"? or "Ghost Dog - Way of the Samurai"?

I would give those two my highest recommendation, also "The Royal Tenenbaums" if you haven't seen that one yet.

 

I rented Tennenbaums a couple of weeks ago. I liked. I haven't seen Waking Life yet, I've been meaning to rent it. I'm an animatioin fan, and that has some pretty revolutionary animation.

My local video stores don't have "Ghost Dog" I've seen all of Jim Jarmache's (sp?) other movies. I even own Mystery Train.

 

I'm a big Jarmusch fan, and Ghost Dog is actually my favorite of his films. You might just have to buy it if you can't rent it.

You should definitely rent Waking Life though, it's amazingly cool.

 

My other Jarmusch favorite is "Down By Law". The direction is simply fantastic. I don't care what people say, I like Roberto Benigni.

 

Yeah, that's another great one, all of his movies are really. I really like Dead Man as well.

I have Ghost Dog on DVD, my mom gave it to me. It plays like a haiku poem.

I'd recommend a great classic, Some Like it Hot, for instance. I love that film.

I had a nice long nap and am feeling better now... except I've got the shakes. Blah.

 

Some Like it Hot is occasionally on one of the old movie channels, AMC or TMC or something. I've caught it a few times. It's better than "Oh, God" with John Denver and George Burns. I'm not sure why I brought that up, just to be obscure, I suppose.

I finally got my Win2k install underway. It's nice to be doing something productive, even if I do just check on it every 30 minutes.

Not a lot. I just got back from taking my sister driving on some small streets and I'm about to head out to my dad's place to see my niece later today. How've you guys been?

 

I'm okay, work is totally dead, which is fine with me as long as I have something to do like talk to you guys.

 

I have unt headache. It's a German headache, and they hurt the worst of all

To tell you the truth, it's tough staying awake. I've been working on this server, and it's there with all these other computers. The air conditioning is turned way up, and there's a soothing drone from all the computers. I'm thinking about putting a hammock up in there.

When I woke up this morning, that Jimmy Eat World song was playing on the radio. It's been in my head all day! "Everything, everything will be alright, alright" Ugh.

 

Thank goodness I have no idea what song you're talking about, or it would no doubt be stuck in my head now too.

I'm off to grab lunch, back in an hour or so.

 

I had this thing called a 'muchaco' for lunch. It's a taco served on flatbread. The flatbread was really friggin' think though, and my muchaco tasted like a donut. A meaty donut. Yick.
