Not much. Just talking to a few people and looking around the net.
How was your run?
It was alright, I went a bit too soon after eating and my knee has been bugging me a bit, oh and some ******* tried to run me over, but other than that it was great.
You should have thrown a rock at his car.
That would have shown him.
Believe me, I felt like doing just that. I mean this guy really went out of his way to try to run me down.
Oh well, I'm over it now.
On a happier note, I finally got an AOTC Yoda figure. I have been looking for one since the toys first went on sale, but my local stores never had one... until now.
I got all of my toys when my store got two boxes of them in and I bought all of them.
I like seeing things before any customers do. It makes it easier for me to collect.
So, are you doing anything on this friday night?
Yeah, we went to Toys 'R Us the first day and bought most of our's then but they didn't have a Yoda, and that was the one I wanted the most.
Not doing anything tonight, just taking it easy with the fam. You? I guess it's already too late over there to really go out and do anything huh?
Yeah. I'm just enjoying my night off.
I've been working so much lately. As can be seen with my lack of being around here on most days.
I can't think of any other movie/tv show that has people flocking to stores to buy little toys. We are sad people. All of us.
And, if you care. The Strokes are on Conan O'Brien tonight.
Looking forward to it...
Yeah I know, it's really comical.
I still remember the day that the ESB toys came out. I got to pick one toy. The movie wasn't even out yet but for some reason I picked Lando. Maybe I just knew that eventually I would get the cooler ones like Boba Fett or maybe I just couldn't resist Lando's smoothness, I have no idea.
EDIT: Ooh, I'll have to check that out if I can stay up that late.
I wasn't into Star Wars back in the ESB days. I was also born in '79, so I wasn't all that old yet.
I'm kind of tempted to go in my room and open all of the toys up and play.
Yeah, I opened most of mine. It's just not fair to my kids to not let them play with them. I wish I still had my old collection, everything but my AT-AT got lost somehow in one of our moves.
