JCC Weird Book Covers

I had a bunch of those growing up. Some of them were really freakin' weird.

 

I remember reading them when i was little, i specificly remember that author edward packerd. i haven't read that exact book but i do remember one with somthing like vampires in outer space or somthing.

 

Never would have guessed that Superman had a thing for ten year old boys.

 

I actually own this book, as well (hey, I live near the mountains).

I still have them but as far as writing goes this one pictured was one of the better ones.

 

Did you have the Indiana Jones ones, VLM? Or Fighting Fantasy by the guy who was called Steve Jackson but wasn't GURPS Steve Jackson?

 

I had one single Indiana Jones book, The Cup Of The Vampire. I had one Fighting Fantasy book, Scorpion Swamp. I also had a couple of Sagard The Barbarian and one Lone Wolf book.

 

Please say this isn't real...

 

Ah yes. I see that you too have discovered the many delights of Superdickery.

 

I have about 30 Fighting Fantasy books and 15 Lone Wolf ones. I had a ton of CYOA as well, I remember one about the Maya in which you could get sacrificed. Pretty dark for a kid's book.

 

One of the darkest was Hom. You wind up in an alternate world where some ogre like dude tells you that you will dig. While you work If you come across maggots you may eat them. "There is no escape from Hom."
