Canada Weird things and Strange phobias....

Just to get more than one thread at a time goin.....What weird things to y'all do, or weird phobias you have? I have one, and I think it's the craziest thing in the world...

Whenever I go into a bathroom with a shower curtain closed, doesn't matter if it's my house or someone else, I always have to look behind the curtain before I do anything...I don't know if I expect someone to be there or not, but I always have to look...

Anyone else?

 

I never have a good or full nights sleep in someone elses house, i toss and turn, unless it my moms, one of sisters, my brother or close family....

seriously, tamber? i'm the same way. sometimes. except i don't look behind them. i just ponder on whether or not there's a monster behind it or something.

i also tend to think of weird things for no reason.

 

I am so dead serious when I say that! I knew it...I am a freak!!

Anyways...another one...whenever I leave my house, when I am shuttin the door, my hand is always holding my housekey...never fails...I always have to have my housekey in hand when I lock the door....

 

I too have trouble sleeping away from home

 

yeah if we could all be like duker duck, on a floor, concrete, or like me who can sleep standing up or in swiss shalet

 

I hear ya, Darth2...I can sleep anywhere!! Especially when traveling...

 

i cant sleep in other peoples houses, but i can sleep else where like a bus, car, pavement lol

 

I'm afraid if I don't knock on wood, bad things will happen. Oh yeah, and Tammy, I'm with ya on the whole shower curtin. I'm mean anything or anyone could hide behind it!

 

LOL...I knock on wood, too!! How many times do you knock? I always do three, no more, no less...Not so much out of superstition, but of habit...well, maybe superstition...oh, well...it's not like something bad will happen if I don't...

I'm another one who's not afraid of the montreal boards...

but my most incredible fear is also my only weakness...

so if I told you it wouldn't be smart now would it!

Not so weird phobia... I'm afraid of being alone.

You know that sound off-air television stations make? That drone? That scares the crap out of me. I don't know why. Maybe because it reminds me of someone flatlining.

...eep.

 

Or maybe it's because it's like that movie Poltergeist where the ghosts were inside the TV and it had that weird droning sound. I dunno.

 

I am petrified of Canada and am facing my fears by posting here.

 

As well you should be. I heard they all ride around on moose and have rabid mutant beavers as house pets. And they all live in igloos, and they know Santa personally. I also heard that it snows in the summertime and completely freezes over in the winter. Have you ever tried contacting a Canadian during the winter months? You can't, because they're all human icicles! That's why Canadians will live longer than anyone else, and survive nuclear winter and other natural and unnatural disasters, and why they should be feared. Canadians will one day rule the world!!

 

I fully intend to take over Canada. Two of my friends and I have big plans involving McDonalds food, one cannon, a tank and Saran wrap. see we are going to put saran wrap over all of Canada to melt the snow then we are going to make the guinea pig a national icon. No one will call their ham canadian bacon ever again!!! heh heh heh.

 

Meh, you'll only fail. We got the Brits as our allies.

 

And everyone knows the Brits are all crazy.

 

Yeah, but they're good fighters. And if you knew us on the Atlantic Canada forums, well, we're just as crazy.

 

Who needs the Brits? We've got hockey players! A lot of them. And they're not afraid to play rough.

EDIT: Of course Atlantic Canada is crazy. You have that crazy Newfie music brainwashing you. Not to mention the diet of nothing but fish.

 

Newfie music? There aren't even any newfies posting on the AC. And if you're talking about East Coast music, well, the only time I hear that stuff is when the East Coast Music Awards are going on.

 

Well, all I know is my grandparents just got back from NB, NS, CB, and NF, and their video tapes all contain weird music done with fiddles and stuff.

 

That's because they went to all those stupid festivals.
