    What are the weirdest (original, not official) villains in your role-playing experience--in Star Wars or other games, personality-wise or stats-wise, written by you or cooked up by your DM?

    Currently, the one for sheer strangeness of class choice I've seen is a high-level Dark Jedi...who has levels of Jedi Artisan. He's very arrogant about his work, which of course opened him to the Dark Side.

    Oooh, I like that concept --^ Got the stats? Sounds like a sinister, Thrawn kinda guy.

    My wierdest was a crazed doctor who chased the PC force users. He was obsessed with getting tissue samples from there to use in repairing his own deformities. Think Dr Evazan but with enough resources to hire out as many goons as he wanted.

    I went totally sci-fi and created some kind of genetical chimera, the perfect being, a leftover experiment of a defeated Dark Jedi villain. They were seven identical clones, apparently young girls, all of them with flash-imprinted memories and working as "sleeping agents", waiting for an activation code that would never arrive. The PCs and the Empire fought over every one of them, as Thrawn wanted the perfect clones as the new template for his clonetrooper army; half of the time the girls knew nothing about their real nature and lived normal lives. The last twist: the last of the clones had the flash imprinted memories of said dead Dark Jedi. Oooooh.

    I admit it was weird, but my players loved it.

    I haven't actually played him--or done anything more than think of a name and general concept, for that matter--but I dreamed up a different kind of Sith Lord a while back.

    Darth Shade.

    As befits his name, he's more of a skulker, a watcher, a thinker. He knew from the beginning that he would not be the one to destroy the Jedi, and so he devoted his life to making sure his apprentice (and his apprentice, and his apprentice, and so on) would have the necessary knowledge to set it all up.

    He would be known among the Sith for being one of the first of the New Sith, perhaps only a generation or two removed from Darth Bane, and for having formally established several of the New Sith's core precepts; his favorite saying was, without a doubt, "An enemy favoring a trait should not make that trait abhorrent to you." It was primarily to do with patience and self-knowledge, but even the occasional show (emphasis on show) of mercy, kindness, or love was not necessarily a bad (good?) thing, so long as it furthered the goals of the Sith.

    As it was, he may not have accomplished much for the Sith except for outlining their goals and methods in more detail. In fact, as a Force-user, he was relatively weak--his own apprentice slew him in what should have been the peak of his power, and most fully-fledged Jedi of the era would have been more than a match for him in a straight fight. Rumors abound that he may not have even been truly malicious or evil, but instead a true sociopath with a sinister presence. Darth Shade's true talent was in his ability to keep his secrets; he hoarded information like a Dark Talon Karrde, could hide from the most sensitive Force-user, and was a master of disguise, never wearing the same face twice. Which species he belonged to never came to light, and no one outside of his apprentice ever learned his true name.

    An NPC Ridar Thief who had left the party was trained by a fallen Jedi (former PC whose player left the group when he graduated).

    -----

    House Mecetti Lord (a junior one with delusions of grandure and plans to make them come true) had a number of plans working and was targeting/testing them on the small group that is giving him so much trouble (the PCs). One project was to create a cyborg army. (see Mutoids of Blake's 7). They have enhanced strength, piloting, reflexes, etc (all stats 4d, specialist(pilots) might have 6d base). These were moderately successful, but extremely expensive.
    He also was working on a teleportation gate. The theory was to be able to teleport troops to any location so that he could take over the House, and possiblly the entire Tapani System. Unfortunately, the success rate was only about 3%. The party would find large amounts of bio-goo suddenly appearing from no-where. Once or twice a few commando troops would show up and attack.--it was years before they actually found the base that was causing this.
    Another experiment was to rush-create Jedi troops bent to his will. He found a fallen Jedi and a Mandalorian, had their memories scanned. He combined his own genetic material(for loyalty) with some he'd forciblly harvested from a Force-sensative underling, and used cloning chambers to grow them faster. All the while, they were treated with psychotropic drugs to open their minds to the Force, and had the memories of the Jedi & Mandalorian imprinted on them. When they worked, they would have all the advantages of a Jedi and Mandalorian, but totally loyal. Unfortunatly, the process usually produced psychotic murderous fiends. Mental stability was kinda a problem.

    ----------

    Lt Kivahn is a very ambitious officer in the Imperial Navy. So ambitious, that Intel has already assigned a protocol droid to spy on him.
    He is also quite competent and loyal.
    In situations that would drive most imperial officers into a blind rage of appoplexy, he is able to calmly reason out a solution. He is also an excellent politician and diplomat.

    During an assignment to oversee construction of an installation, rebels were sent to stop him. After the first hint of trouble, all technicians were issued both side arms and full carbines, and a speederbike patrol set up to check on them every 5 minutes. Any bike patrol(2 bikes) not reporting in as specified times was sent reenforcements (4 bikes). Any patrol reporting trouble was sent 8, with stormtroopers following on an open transport sled.
    When technicians began deserting during a massive fight, the stormtroopers in towers opened fire on them. The next day, there was a blanket broadcast promising amnesty to all technicians who returned to work. (the stormtroopers had been killed by the rebels, so they couldn't be punished).
    As soon as trouble started, Lt Kivahn began construction of a remote unit 15 km away from the main installation.

    Even after the failure of the above mission, he has retained rank, and cleared of wrong-doing by his court martial.

    His immediate supervisors don't trust him. His immediate juniors are affraid he'll use them as scapegoats (but that's true of most junior officers anyway). He has a personal chef(oortolan), valet(human), and bodyguard (barabel).

    Well I've been gaming since 92 so I've had a few doozies over the years.

    A few villians I've fad some laughs with over the years;

    Dead-eye;

    Human pirate with a cybernetic laser eye. A wink from him in a shadowed cantina meant certain death. ;)

    Tip-Top;

    A hit-man for hire. Best described as a cross between 'Chucky' (a'la Childs play) and Yoda. Same species as Yoda, albeit a tad taller with darker green skin, a top not of hair and a sinister grin. Imagine Yoda acting like Jack Nicholson's 'Joker'

    Riekann Logan;

    Bounty Hunter that got his face scoarched by an Ion engine backwash. Think of Boba Fett meets Dengar with a little Terminator thrown in for good measure.

    Tron-33;

    The Merc. A Droideka that gained self awareness. Modified to have appendages that allowed it/him to handle objects use devices fly ships ect. ect. Also was based partially on the original concept of Destoryer droids that actually had 'transforming' bi-ped feet.

    Cheebo;

    Rodian drug lord. Could speak perfect english. Was so cultured he even had an Imperial accent. ;)

    Cybot;

    An Imperial probe droid on the edge of the galaxy that had the 'misfortune' of running into a mechanical spacefaring race that mistook it for a fledgeling robot that needed an upgrade. Silly thing tried to organize a galaxy wide droid rebellion by tapping the hyper-net.

    Captain Muttenchop;

    Human Imperial StarDestroyer Captain. Bitter Imperial that was overlooked by Thrawn for placement in the Katana fleet campaigns. Apparently Thrawn felt Muttenchop was tooo 'old school' for his tastes.

    Vibro the Phatt;

    Dark skinned version of a Hutt that was 4 times fatter then Jabba the Hutt. Travelled in a repulsolif driven jacuzzi and liked to smoke spice-crack in a water bong.

    Mace Winduu; (two 'u's')

    Dark Jedi clone (pardon the pun) of the late Mace Windu killed during the climax of the Clone Wars. Apparently upon his death his severed hand was still clutching his saber. Palpatine had both stored in a personal store house and three decades later was found and cloned.

    Skywalker wasn't happy.

    Timothy Zahn was amused though...

    High-stakes gambler (who also cheated) had a blaster which normally did 4d damage, but had a switch that, if flipped, caused the blaster pulse to discharge random-powered blasts. Sometimes 1d, sometimes 6d, usually somewhere in between.

    It was funny having characters spend 2-4 skill points to resist a 1d blast.

    In our Campaign, we have a Sith Lord named Darth Seer. He was originally a noble but turned Jedi, trained as the newly rebirthed Jedi Order began. Somewhere along the line he became bored with his lack of power and the fact he was being overshadowed by his 'friend' Ashton Darkstar. He fell to the dark side, under the tutleage of Darth Kain and now seems to enjoy tormenting our fairly young (The youngest character is just 16 at the start of the campaign) party.

    He's rude, vain and highly evil. He dresses in long red robes and wears a mask. He's actually very lovely to look at (despite the red and yellow eyes) which makes it that much harder to resist him. Especially since the oldest character is 25. Girls outnumber the boys in this campaign as well. Hehe

    most of my RPGing is now done online, but when I was in a Pen-And-Paper group, we made a bunch of villains that were based on people we did not like in real life that was very funny, but also very good RPGIng, even if we portrayed them as buffoons.

    And it brought a million laughs too!
