Ok, so I am working this morning when I look down at my hand.
I see my right hand with a bit of blood on it and my left hand with quite a lot of blood on it.
I find out that I have taken a chunk out of my knuckle on my middle finger.
Weird thing is I didn't even notice.
It is quite a big chunk so how could I not notice?
Now I know it is there it hurts, but it didn't before.
I wonder if this is sort of like mind over matter?

    I've done similar.

I stood on some glass in a pool once and it didn't hurt until I found out I was bleeding (Blood in water ala Jaws).

My cat made a huge cut on my arm and it didn't start hurting until I saw it. I have no idea why this happens, its probably psychological, maybe

So how did you actually manage to take a chunk out?

    No idea.
And I got juice from my orange in it a while ago!
    That bloody hurt.
Although, it looks like I am a fast healer, the chunk is now half the size it was.
I wonder if oranges have a healing agent in them?

I discovered in my lecture earlier that my left pinky finger had quite a sizeable amount of blood on it. It was all dried and when I scraped it off, I didn't even have a cut on my finger.

I still don't know where the blood came from.

Well what happens is when you like cut a finger but you don't know you have until you've looked at it because it didn't hurt before. What happens is I reckon your nerves go up because you don't know how it got there and you might get quite scared thinking about how it got there. When you think about it only just then starts hurting . It's like headaches. You get them usually when your thinking.:-B.
