I never posted on the temp boards. So I'm not really a Temp Board holdout...but hello!

 

Maybe 'holdout' has the opposite meaning in American English?

Much like the term 'Lucked Out'.

 

Haha...wait. I think I get it. I thought this thread was for all the Temp Board users who didn't want to fully integrate into the new boards because they liked the Temp Boards so much.

But I get it now.

YES!!! I waited long enough and almost broke down and registered on the temp boards but my patience was rewarded. Great, we still have the same smilies. Yippee.

 

Was the reward six months wanting to post? Is that something like Lent but for nerds?

The best way to do it was obviously to wait until 8 days before the move to register.

 

Taking five minutes to register was too difficult. Better to wait over five months.

 

But they're still here. Resistance is futile.

 

I'm reminded that I was glad that some people never made it over. You don't appreciate an absence until it's too late sometimes

If the boards were fixed we'd have nothing to complain about.
