You mean you still harbor bad feelings for poor Hama's little joke that pretty much everyone fell for? ;)

it was too god to be true.

I agree. I think a lot of us wanted it to be true more than anything. ;)

It was a prank that I pulled back in February, impersonating George Lucas. It was a developing idea that we had for April Fool's day, but it was discovered five weeks early.

These threads explain it all, if you have the time to read it all:

Is George Lucas here? (by yodaman)
    Apology (by me)
A Word from TFN on Lucas Impersonation (by Scott)

Did I play a prank? Yes. The admins do that from time to time, so expect it.

Did I lie in order to do it? Yes. It wouldn't be much of a prank if I was 100% truthful. (Are you really George Lucas? Nope. I'm really Hama in disguise. -- end of prank, elapsed time: 15 seconds).

Did I abuse my Manager powers by creating VIP's? Hardly. There was a precedent of making users VIPs (Chyren did that to random users one day when he first got the power, and there were no repercussions), and since it was an ADMIN prank, and therefore is subject to all available means I had to make it believable.

Did I go out on my own and run rampant on the boards? Hardly. I was on ICQ with three other mods at the time it all happened, and I had posted the idea in the Mod Squad two days earlier. The only negative comment was "too obvious". (yeah, right)

So why was everyone so upset? My theory: because everyone wanted it to be true, and so many fell for it. I've done my time for this eight-hour prank. Three months demoted to VIP, and five months as a Moderator before finally getting back to where I was. Only about five more months until the next April Fool's Day! :D

well it was quite funny, i am not sure how you will top it though, it will take a heroic effort to get that combination of anger and laughs again
