Spok, WA Welcome New Members!!!!!

I'd like to be the first person to welcome the new members we met at the premier last night. Welcome to the Spokantina, sit back, have a drink and enjoy the ride.

 

Yes, welcome! It was so exciting to see all the Star Wars fans yesterday and just to hang out. Feel free to make yourselves at home.

 

A big hearty welcome to all who find their way here!

 

I want to give a round of to the older Spokantina members who made this all happen:

-John (my first in-person contact with this group)
-Nick (for scoring me the opening night ticket)
-James (for the Jedi outfit)
-Casey (for the Bloomsday laughs)
-Steve (for showing me my first lightsaber move---nice "pants")
-Erich (for providing "diplomatic" solutions during our last meeting)
-Mason (for keeping me energized before the show)
-Kelli (for keeping us supplied with cookies at our Episode I and II marathon)
-Nathan (my most excellent Jedi posing partner for our photo shoots)
-Amy and Alfredo (for being such troopers and saving our seats when Channel 4 came calling)
-Baxter (for your unfailing duel challenges)

I know I'm leaving others out, but, you're included when I say, "You ROCK!

For those of you who we met at the premiere, it was great to meet you. I hope you'll find a place here at the Spokantina!

 

First off I am 35 years old, I am divorced, and I live in a van down by the river.

With that being said welcome all, these people who you met are great people, very very friendly.

Thanks, JarusSarn and all the other fantabulous folk we (my son and I, hence Padmay and Luke) have met this last week. Here we are, signed up and ready to be active members of The Spokantina!

I am excited about Spokantina too! When do we get to have a "newcomers" meeting or even just a "regular" meeting or even just a group trip to the movie theaters...?
