Here's my contribution to a fantastic day!

    The FF-UK Collectormania Crew!

The 2 Chris's = Lord O and Chris Judge - wow - dont you have big hands Chris J?

Ray Parks 'What - I only get half a lightsaber?' - what a fantastic guy - wish that there were more people like him - pure pleasure to chat to! [:D]

Leigh looks on 'ah - boys and their toys...'

Paul Darrow (Avon - Blakes 7) - a really great guy to talk to and still a fond memory for all us 'aged' people (you know who you are!) of a fantastic pioneering Sci Fi show[face_blush]

Lord O and Michael Shanks! Chris's smile is so sharp he just had to look away! :D

Leigh has more luck raising Micheal's head up...(Chris - just face it that Leigh has the good looks!)

Jase and Avery - best of buddies, but Jase tries to get him to write out the autograph correctly with Jedi mind powers over Avery's Trek dominance! DS9 - the BEST EVER Star Trek!

Fan Force Jedi Crew - Edgejedi88 (L) and Lord Ogli (R)

Sha-mon Mark - Mark finds a new hat!

Ever the photogenic - the one - the only - TimB [face_dancing]

FF-UK Night Out - At the Fab Cafe, one of a series of bars we crawled around!

....heres anothery Avery Brooks for you then...'legend' is an under statement! He is a fantastic guy, full of laughter and spirit - a inspiration both on screen and off screen...and he is a pretty good singer - he sang for us at the talk he did! [face_dancing]

A HUGE thanks also has to go out from all of us too to Voren (Paul, from the FanForce here) for providing us with the opportunity for having a stand at the event.

Thanks Paul - you are a star and helped smooth our experience and make it fun over the weekend!

    Hey guys :)

Got back safe and sound yesterday, but the minute I got home I was asleep. Killed me getting up this morning for lectures. But what a brilliant weekend :)

It was nice to see everyone again [:D]

Costuming on the saturday was fun but the spotlight was really on jace, chris and rob and thier fantastic Jedi costumes. (and the flat cap was a humorous addition to both chris and mascot yoda. The public loved it!)

Meeting Ray park was great, he was so laid back and easy going, I got to shake his hand and everything! :D And No I didnt get beaned in the head in that photo either thankfully :p Sometimes I hate being short! And meeting Micheal Shanks has made me think that I need to start watching more stargate ;) Hes cute! and was really nice. Jays song was really funny. And wow can that man sing!

Ended up buying a few padme dolls for nana and aunty as well as a CSI patch (I'm inspired to make that my next costume. Either that or Bastilla from KOTOR) And the lovely tim found me a knights of the old republic comic *hugs tim :) [:D] *

The saturday night was cool. Apart from getting lost in Manchester and then going the long way back to the hotel when it was literally just around the corner! [face_laugh] Had a nice meal in a weatherspoons but it got busy and noisy super quick.

Its back in november. Woo-hoo! [face_dancing]

Gutted I couldn't make it but as you can see from the announcement on the Northern board I was kind of busy with other things.

We had an incling last week which is why I said I may not be able to make it and we found out for sure during the week.

I spent all weekend working in the bathroom and garden in a vain attempt to finally get the house ready for the child we have at the moment.

Bathroom to finish, Bedroom partition wall to knock down aso room can be extended to accomodate two, Kitchen to reorganise and drip and leak to fix, Garden to make ready re-seed and put up fence to prent dogs from coming in and crapping on the grass, etc.... (the list is quite extensive)

Plus my Parks Sabre is still 2 weeks away minimum [face_frustrated] so i wouldn't have been able to duel with anyone (I am still not dressing up though, I'll be the jedi dressed civvy style)

I'll hopefully be at the November one as the sprog will have been born then and we'll be settling into a new routine as a foursome.

It's great to see that you all had a great time.

Welcome to the FFUK North Craig  :D
Don't think I got to meet you as I was manning the table at the time the others saw you, maybe next time? Hope all the costume stuff goes well, I am thinking seriously about an Echo Base trooper outfit, just have to do some research first.
    Good to have you here.

I have SW BF2 btw just haven't had time to be on much, I played SWBF a lot when it was popular, though I stayed clanless. I am "Tim B" and other variations on the servers, say hi if you see me :D

I may well go to the London Film and Comic Con in July, Carrie Fisher has been announced as a guest!!!!

Lol Craig, yeah you probably would! :p I was better at BF1 than BF2, though give me time and I'll be hunting you Imperials down hehe.

Jase, who you met, is head honcho of Rebel Legion UK, I am sure he can ask his members about Rebel helmets whereabouts, and we can also ask Ed who is head honcho of all the Rebel Legion, and he loves pilot costumes ;)
I think Jase is busy tonight ( ;) ), so expect a reply tomorrow :D

yes....'getting into character' Dave - my costume is set in the exile time between ROTS and ANH....tonight Matthew I am gonna be....

...but yes, it does make me feel very old...it set the scene nicely though and everyone I spoke to recognised it instantly....was a great weekend and so many good memories.

Best one was when a 3 or 4 year old kid asked his mum to ask us if he could shake our hand - he just wanted to 'shake a Jedi's hand'.[:D]

    Makes you feel so humble.O:)
