Maybe it would be possible to organise something between Sweden and Finland some day, we are neighbours after all. Sweden and Denmark are going to meet last weekend in April, in the Sci-Fi con in MalmÃ¶.

Hmm.. in the end of April some of Pilvikaupunki members are coming to Sci-Fi trade show in Sollentuna, so that would be a great change to have FFFinland and FFSweden meeting.

You are not talking about the Scandinavian Sci-Fi and Game convention? The one that was in Sollentuna in the autumn, because that one is in MalmÃ¶ this time.

Nope, I don't think any Finns are going to MalmÃ¶ (at least I had to cancel the journey since I would have to fly to Denmark in order to get to MalmÃ¶). Sollentuna's con was great, but a trip to MalmÃ¶ just isn't possible for a poor student like me.

How about Eurocon, then? It's held in Turku, 1st - 3rd of Autumn, 2003. There's a topic about in Nordic discussions.

Well not exactly invented. The home of Santa Claus (Father Christmas) is here in Finland, in Korvatunturi. If I remember correctly the Santa Claus tradition began in Central Europe, where Saint Nicholas (predecessor of Santa Claus) gave presents to children at christmas...

Ok, I'm uploading your design right now, it may be a bit glitchy for some time, so don't be surprised if it says FF Denmark for a while.

Ohh, and some people never get satisfied, it's not enough with titles, now they want them to be correct also!

edit/ I think the server has updated the banner now.

That banner is just a temporarily. Those pics are hosted by Pilvikaupunki, so we can update our banner anytime.

I have done now several skins for Pilvikaupunki and this one during few weeks, so I don't wanna see any image processing program in a next few days.

Actually the house where I spent most of my spare-time is designed by Alvar Aalto, and I have played the Finlandia-suite, in Ireland of all places. I really like it, even if it's quite hard.

edit/ I will go there right now, if I take something to drink I will toast for FF Finland. (it's a pub among other things)
