Too bad I don't live in Des Moines anymore... but all I can say is I'm very happy Des Moines got its FF forum back, and I would be elated to see it blossom into an official FF chapter in the near future.

If so, I'd be delighted to take the 6-hour drive back home and attend some of the meetings.

 

First meeting to take place April 17, time and place undetermined at this time.

 

That works out great for me. My life's been pretty hectic lately, so I'll probably be able to go now, being that the date is so far off. It'll also give us a good 6 weeks to get more people.

I'm a student at South Dakota State university at Brookings, South Dakota. It's not quite two hours straight north of Sioux City.

BTW, where is everyone? A few short weeks ago, everyone seemed to be revved up for a potential FF group to be created, now this project seems to be dying down. What gives?

 

Yhea, slowed down a little but the same people are posting. Still thinking of ways to get the word spread.

Yeah, was there a meeting? I've been so busy the last 6 weeks that it's been crazy. Things should look up in the future. If there was a meeting, where was it at? Who all was there?

 

No thier was not a meeting. I don't know how Navillus drew that conclusion he must have misread a post.

 

Hi! I'm really glad to see there's an Iowa group now. I'm in Pella, so you can throw things at me now, if you're so inclined. But I don't have much cross-county mobility at my age, so meetings I'll probably have to skip on.
