There is a possibility that I'll go on a college in London and now I heard about the European Celebration. Amazing!

Hmm, interesting possibilty as I have an Uncle who lives in SEoS...

 

What a top idea, as a fan fic writer myslef it would be great to have a chat with some fellow writers and knock some ideas around, share a (lot) of beers and swap numbers.

I really hate that this event is already in the shadow of "that other event" over in Californa.

 

Sorry.. "really hate" are strong words. I meant "frustrated". I sometimes tend to exagherate, especially when I am wound up about something (totally unrelated, in this case). My apologies.

I just hope that this event will not be overshadowed. I hear about other Europeans planning for C4 first, and this event second, and I think it should be the other way around. Don't you?

 

I don't think it's being over-shadowed just yet. Apart from C4 having a fixed date, that's the only real difference between the two (apart from location). I think they may still be deciding on what dates are best for CE, but that's an educated guess based on the EC website still having July and August missing from its diary of events, perhaps keeping them completely free until SM and Lucasfilm confirm the date (it's been like that for over a year now, which is when this started to be arranged).

 

I'm finding myself looking forward to this more than C4... although I talk more about going to C4 because it's so far away and really needs some planning. London is so easy for me, it's just getting a cheap plane ticket, and you can always find some place to stay in London. I really don't need to plan much for London.

I really hope it's going to be great, and I hope as many people as possible comes so I can meet loads of nice people!

 

...would be really nice if the date/s showed up for everybody to start planning...time is marching on and the anticipation of such a cool event in the UK is growing...maybe thats why...

Heh, I told my g/f I'm considering going to CE. She immediately place the back of her hand on my forehead to see if I got a fever .

 

Its very tempting to make the journey to London to go to this. I've never been 'over the pond' and this would be a very fun reason to make my first trip.

NEWS!!! Finally

So CE will be a three day event, july 13th to 15th.
