Timely upping, LB.
With all the new people here, sending this thing back to the top might not be a bad idea.
Announcement - Topics on sex must be approved by either myself or Kessel Runner. Since they are technically still "taboo", we have to maintain some sort of order surrounding their creation.
Edit: Scratch that for a moment...
Updated first post by request of Lord Bane.
Yes, now read, dammit!
Shouldn't we up this? It was on page 4, and no one looks at page 4...except me.
Yes, it should be upped.
Go here to discuss why you can't create topics. Then come back here and offer suggestions (or there; just try and help the Administration for once ).
What happens if I don't follow the rules? Will I get arrested or something?
*sniffle* And I wanted to start a thread that had nothing to do with the anti-american crap thats been going on.
I suppose you could regulate what threads can be started by creating a similiar thread thats in the Censor board asking for patrons to post what they would like to debate on.
Or you could just add in the rules "No more Anti-American threads" Something like that.
Topics about America are fine, but everything in moderation. We are bursting at the seams with US threads.
If you want to post a topic, PM me or another mod who works in the Senate, and we'll discuss posting it in here before the whole "martial law" thing is up.
NEW POLICY (or policy clarification)
It has been brought to my attention that there is a hypocrisy in the Senate. Ok, there are a few, but the main one right now is about the "What if" threads that pose a hypothetical question about past events (What if Lincoln wasn't assassinated; What if the USSR didn't collapse - for example).
And since I locked one thread on this in the past, stating there is a "no what if thread" policy, (because those sort of threads are just idle discussion with no true basis in fact, only wild opinion and hypothesis) I am going to follow through an make that Official Senate Policy.
If you have "What if" ideas, take it to the JCC because we don't need them in here. Current Events, important socio-political issues - there are enough of these to fill the forum without debating what might have been in those silly threads.
New Senate Mod
Please welcome KnightWriter as your new Senate moderator as I step down.

Just giving a quick up.
