I've been hoping that as we move closer to the release of the show that it would rekindle that amazing feeling of anticipation that came before each film's release. With a mod back from the 3SA days doing it again, it definitely helps to add to that feeling in some way.

I'm really excited about the next few years and think we can do great things with this forum. Obviously we'll never recapture completely the spirit of the 1SA, 2SA and 3SA forums, but even so, I hope ultimately SSSW will be in the spirit of those great forums.

I think it'l be a tough task to recreate the 'event mentality' that the 3SA webcam threads had, but if LFL deigns to supply a webcam I'll be bashing down the door to have a peek.

 

Last ever Star Wars movie Vs Star Wars TV series? I think you are right. Still, we can have a lot of fun over the next few years.

 

Well we probably won't have a vague image of stairs being constructed because of reusing sets. I think the coverage will be different but cool.

 

I suppose how many people we get in will depend quite a lot on exactly what the series is about. If its really about bridging the two trology's together, and we see the Rebellion starting up, the end of the Jedi Purge, and that sort of thing (and I think thats the way McCallum seems to be talking it up - But then again what he says doesn't mean that much ) Then I think we'll bring in lots of the movie crowd as well as all the EU fans.

If its something 100% seperate to everything we see in the movies, then I would think we'll be looking at less of the movie crowd and mainly, but not exclusively, at te EU crowd coming here.

So at this point its wide open as to just how much traffic we'll be generating.

 

Regardless, it will be a lot.

A lot of Star Wars fans.
