I highly suggest you PM DJ and ask her about everything you need to do to become offical. when starting a new FF your RSA is your best friend and I'm sure is more than willing to answer all your questions. and i've dealt with DJ before in other forums, she is really nice and always willing to help. good luck Swan and i'm sorry i can't be there for your first meeting

I go to school in Oberlin, OH, but I'm actually a resident of Holland, MI. So a GR FanForce chapter would be so totally awesome, especially since a lot of fun things happen over breaks, when I'm nowhere near Cleveland. My best friend over in the Iowa FanForce group would probably want to join, too.

I really like the Hoth Beach idea, too.

Oooh, a Grand Rapids FF. I'm in Flint right now, but the second time that I saw the IMAX version of AOTC, it was in Grand Rapids.

I'll have to remember to check if you guys have anything going on the next time I'm over on that side of the state.

Hi y'all!

I'm new here. I was a member of R2-Detroit way back when it first started having meetings and such (my sn was Jedi_Kettch, but for some reason I can't use it anymore )

I wanted to kinda get back into things but figured I'd be better off joining over here. I'll be moving to Grand Rapids in the fall for college so it seems more practical.

Is there anything official going on yet? I noticed the board was a little slow...

BultarSwan is the one to talk to, and is getting things going, and yes it got very slow around here.

 

We are still trying to get things started and have the first meeting. I am in the same boat as you and won't be on that side of the state until I go to college in the fall so I have a 2 hour drive still to make a meeting. I think there are enough GRites to have any meeting still count as official even if you or I can't make it.

 

Welcome, Kettchs_Girl!! I'm sooo excited that, although things are slow, new people seem to trickle in every once in a while.


I heard from someone (I forget who ) that they have some friends who don't use the boards that would like to go.
