Sac, CA went to the fair today and saw the star wars area

it was ok, had some pretty cool stuff and well i thought it would be bigger but getting star wars out for the public was great and i will tell you this it had more people there than anything else in that building.so out of lightsabers i give it a 9 i guess i still remember how big c-3 was

 

I think I'm headed out there next weekend. Not really a huge fan of the State Fair, but I'm interested to see the SW booth area at least.

Now if I could only find that haunted house that scared the piss out of me back when I was a kid and get my revenge.

 

I have been hearing from people that the Fair sucks this year. I don't think I will be going. Saving my money for the San Jose Toy trip

 

well it isnt that bad but they raised prices again everything is more expensive. i spent alot of replic credits out there tried to use my sith mind trick but it didnt work on the fair people.they do have fx vader lightsabers out there for 90.00 so if you were looking for one you might go out there.i was temted to get on the electric bull but while i was walking up to the both the bull but a out of service sign on himself.it was ok i got alot of needed excercise .they have a boba fett life size standee out there made in a metal shop it was really cool and they have the mini posters along with film cells and all the epz things

$90 seems pretty decent.

kinda glad to hear it isn't all that great. i sorta didn't want to go. although, the misses might drag me into the "shopping arena"...UUGH!

I think I might be working the booth next Saturday in Jedi garb. I was actually at the fair this weekend too...but I was in the hatchery near the race track. Don't ask why we're there...it doesn't make sense to me either.

I actually stopped by to say hi to the troops yesterday afternoon. Saw some old friends. Stage Nine actually has some excellent talent lined up for the next few weekends including Jeremy Bullock (sp?) and Peter Mayhew.

 

I am going on August 17 at noon.

How big is the Star Wars show? Did anybody else can see the actors?
any lightsibers duels there?

 

i'm going on the 26th to see aroaroh and megadeath, its gonna be sweet.

 

I was supposed to go yesterday. Because I didn't I didn't get to met the origianl Boba Fett. Yes the guy was there. Its all over the metro section in the Bee.

 

I went there the 18. I bought some SW toys and I think that I saw two members
from the Fan Force just they did not me in person.

I was there on SAturday in Jedi garb. You may have seen me.
Jeremy is a great guy! I got to talk with him and his wife a bit and we took him to dinner afterwards. Next weekend, Peter Mayhew and Hawkie in TIE pilot gear!!!!!! (Finished it last night after the meeting)

 

my wife and i are planning another trip out to the fair next saturday so if anyone was planning on going let me know maybe we can hang out or something

 

Next Sat? Be at the SW booth in the counties building between noon and 6pm and look for the short TIE pilot....

 

Ok guys. Here's Chewbacca's schedual for the weekend. Tonight from 6-9, Saturday and Sunday from noon-6. $15 for an autograph and $20 for an autograph photo. I going tonight.

 

Hey the stage nine says a special guest is going to be at the fair in the SW area on Aug. 26 & 27.... anyone know who it might be?

 

No clue. And an update on me: no go for the fair. I got a samll cold.

ok went out ot the fair and saw peter but he wouldnt take pic with me dont know why it was very crowded. some had costumes the darth maul mini guiy was way off and tried to be tough with my wife the jedi laughed when my 2 year old growled at mini maul was funny. it was very crowded didnt see hawkie there but it was packed and hot.i am going to need help with a battle tunic sometime next year after a drop a couple of shadows

 

When were you there? I was there both Sat and Sun in TIE gear. I actually stayed in armor (no fans in helmet) longer than the "old pros" and got called a "real trooper" by Stage Nine manager Troy.
