Yeah, well, that could be said for most of the FanForce Forums. I know of several social threads that I frequent that would not be considered "real" posts by the JC purists. And gee, I think this might just be considered one of them, hmmmmmm. . .

 

Hey we might not exactly follow the title of the thread but we are doing what the FF threads are for, to discuss SW and have fun.

 

You've got no complaints from me. But some of the JCers are a little militant about post content. If it is not directly related to SW they have a tendancy to go off on a rant. We at the FanForce boards, are diluting the SW pool w/ our frivolous conversations. Personally, I think the FanForce boards are an extension of the communities we live in, enabling us to communicate w/ SW fans all over the world, w/o the expense of traveling everywhere. And unlike most ST fans, we have other interests besides SW, so we use the boards to express & discuss those interests.

I even use the boards to keep in touch when I'm on the road for work. It made what could have been a very long summer stuck in the backwaters of America tolerable & sometimes fun. It became a game of "Where's ZOO?"
