    Hey guys!

Ugg I got no sleep last night. We had a little bit of a family emergency so the phones were ringing all night. It's been taken care of now thankfully, but yeah, was not fun... And now mom's leaving for Arizona for a week to go and sort out all the stuff we got from our house in England. Yaaaaayyyy... Right when I'm starting to work on publishing my book...

But never mind all of that! Super Smash bros is out soon! Duck hunt dog yaaaaayyy! It's like banjo-kazooie kinda!

mavjade: That is a very very well-made and succinct point. Our lives are subject to so many influences both positive and negative, it's enough to make one's head spin. As long as we remember who we are and who we want to be, we can identify who and what does or has influenced us for the better and drop the baggage. I've had a couple of past relationships that, though they didn't work out, in both instances I and my partner ended up learning something about ourselves in the end.

I realize I'm like two days late with this, but y'all should be careful about this sort of thing. Name of first pet and street you were born on (along with some of the other "porn star" or Star Wars name components) are commonly used as password-reset security questions, so think you might want to think twice before broadcasting them all over the Internet.

Good thing I never use those questions as intended.

Mabel is settling down on the couch beside me. I should put on some cartoons. We could marathon more Ren & Stimpy.

I know I've never used Eddie as a password question because I hated that dumb dog. There's a reason why we named it Ed after the Lion King character. As for first street names, I had to look that one up. As for components of names, there ARE many names that begin with the first 2 letters. But yeah, you should be careful. But most websites these days allow you to put in your own security question and I often do that.

What you shouldn't use is a question that changes. One password question was "Name of your favorite pet". I put down the answer and it was wrong. Then I started wondering when I set up the account. It turns out the answer was a cat that died seven years ago.

I agree. I lived on SEVERAL streets as a kid and I had 2 elementary schools. I dislike those questions and I'm glad more and more websites are using alternative emails and text messages for if you forget your password (I can't remember the last time I had to fill out security questions and I think the last time they did I got to type my own question). And I mean, anyone with my real name can look up my facebook, then if they have 2 IQ points to rub together they can find out my mother's maiden name and hometown from half my cousins last name and location.

One huge reason why I'm in favor of anonymity on the interwebs. Websites that demand "real" information from me to be displayed in order to participate, such as my town of residence or my full name (though there are communities where I choose to share my name), certainly won't get my details. The whole thing with Real ID is a complete fiasco, and I won't do it.

I just try to make sure my real life stuff stays separate from the rest of my interwebs interactions. You don't have to live in fear that everyone is axe murders out to get you, but you have to be smart.

In other news, my cat has taken over my huge bean bag chair. It is now her bed.

Oh the joys of doing laundry.

*stuffs entire load into a big washer and doesn't bother sorting*

Haha, that was me at camp. If we had detergent, we were required to use cold water, which doesn't cause colors to bleed apparently. So I just threw in whole loads, because laundry time was a valuable commodity.

Do you put off laundry for as long as possible and then stuff the load into the washer and punch it until it fits? :p

I have to pay to do my laundry, so I put it off as long as I can.

I never sort my laundry, and I tend to put it off until I've completely exhausted my clean clothes (and sometimes reused everything three times), or until I need a specific item that's dirty and it actually needs to be clean.

I also have a tendency to leave the clean clothes in the basket and never put them up, instead digging items out of the basket one at a time as I want/need them without caring if they're wrinkled. Then my dirty clothes just get piled on the floor. Right now the pile of dirty clothes in front of my dresser is about two drawers high. :p

I tend to leave clean clothes in a pile atop the dryer so my housemate can use them. Sometimes I fold the lot, sometimes I hang up the hangables and fold the pants, sometimes I only hang the hangables and (most often) I just don't give a damn. I used to leave my clothes everywhere, but ever since I picked up a rubberized Army-type laundry bag, I've been using that, I find it helps to curtail the stink that dirty clothes can accumulate when you leave laundry off until the last possible moment.

    'cuz I do that, too.

Oh the joys! I tend to do 2 loads: dark stuff and everything else. Then I pile it all on my coffee table and hate my life. I usually only do laundry when I'm procrastinating or REAALLLY need to.

With 4 of us in the house and the youngins having to wear uniforms that are too expensive to warrant more than a weeks worth, we do laudry weekly in my house. But I remember the joy of figuring out cold water and color catchers when I was paying by the load and didn't want to do it until I had a full load.

    Yes please!:D

Ewan as the Doctor has potential to be interesting but I hope he doesn't ever do it.

*Rubs eyes* I'll be so glad when my trial ends. I do not like the idea of being homeless at all. :(
