Only the problem users are actually moving. Everyone else is staying here.
I don't want to move!!!!!! I like it here!!!!!! Just kidding. But, seriously, will all the fan fics have moved?????? Wait- when are we moving?
We'll be there when we get there.
All of the forum posts should move.
The Dodgers will win a World Series before we move.
Viva Los Angeles!
It's decided: we're leaving you behind.
Viva Los Angeles!
Well, Duke Nukem Forever did come out before we moved.
I was going to say England will win the world cup before we move, but I really can't believe it will take *that* long!
I'll maybe post a few the new boards, just to see what its like. But I'm leaving, not moving.
Good, vBulletin is a lot easier to use, plus it has features like post counts and signatures.
We do here as well. If you go up to Options in the header you will see an option to change your signature. And if you view your user profile you'll see your post count.
Are we still actually moving, or is MS just working under the assumption that we might move sometime before the sun implodes?
... nobody ever asked again, did they?
I don't know when Grimby last contacted Philip for an update on the move. I know we had to contact his consultants back in March about some database mapping I was helping with.
I know the Rebelscum boards are transitioning to vBulletin as well, and Philip just got shiny new servers. I'm sure we'll move as soon as he's ready to handle it.

It was this year's April Fools joke. Unfortunately, everyone guessed it months ahead of time so they had to come up with something else. It is now scheduled for 2012's April Fools.
You know what would suck? If we all ended up in the same forum. Man would that be a cluster you know what.
If it's the rugby world cup, then that just might happen.
My conversations with them continually drop off the map, mostly because the data conversion is not exactly a walk in the park. But now that it appears RebelScum is getting migrated by the exact same people who were/are working on our migration, I'll have to inquire about our status...
If you're interested - Rebelscum admin Grahame is documenting their move in [link=http://threads.rebelscum.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=4605790&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1#4605790]this[/link] thread. Some pics of the new hardware are already up. They have less posts than us to import (them - 4.5 million). The test on 6/22-6/23 took 22 hours.
who would have thought, there is cause for optimism
I'm making snacks, anyone want anything?
