Oh I know....but it's certainly easier I would assume if you had a place to put your jackets. And for breaks.

Nah, just lift your robes up once you get on the escalator. Never been an issue for me.

Looking good! :) I wouldn't worry about escalators. I fret and pick up the hem but I've never gotten caught; and realisticaly if anyone would, it would be me. :p

Jared - great costume! I, too, have an Anakin outfit. I had a few questions about yours, if you don't mind sharing...

-where'd you get the boots? They look great! Mine aren't quite tall enough and I'm having a hard time finding the right ones (especially since guy boots don't fit very good on us ladies).
-what are you tabards made of?? I couldn't find the right kind of leather and so made mine out of a different material. From a distance it looks alright, but up close you can really tell they're not quite right.

I'd post a picture, but I'm not all that computer literate and can't figure out how to attach one....

Thanks:) Boots I got from E-Bay, and I have no idea where to find them in stores. Sorry:( J got some English Riding Boots at Before you Ride Consignment in Sherwood Park, and he got them modified to look like Jedi Boots. Right J? See if there is any second hand western stores in Calgary.

The tabbards are vinyl, and you should be able to buy vinyl at leather stores like Tandy Leather.

BTW, my name is Jarrett;) :p

Yeah, no. That would be a Larbel saber. Rubies couldn't sell this if they begged Lucasfilm on their hands and knees.

Watch, now that I said that they'll be on the site in weeks lol

Ooops! Sorry Jarrett!! I guess I was so pre-occupied with your costume that I wasn't paying attention to my spelling

I made vinyl tabards for my first Jedi costume and they are so HOT and not really comfortable to wear. I didn't want to make the same mistake with my Anakin. Guess we can compare material when we meet up for the mall walk - looking forward to it!
