Edmonton West Edmonton Mall costume walk on saturday the 11th of March.

I just got an e-mail from the guy I bought my tie jumpsuit from and he didn't ship the thing until today, if it doesn't get here before sunday I'm gonna be in my robes for this.

 

This walk isn't around the whole mall....is it?

 

well that was kinda the plan, it doesn't really make sense to sit on one spot and wait for everyone to spread word that were on one end, I can see us taking breaks if needed for those in hotter costumes though.

I think there's a UofC trip to the mall that day, so if I can get on board for that I'll just wear my robes on the bus.

We could do like we did at Halloween. Walk around a bitand then sit down and BS.

 

My best friend wanted us to stop by her work and see her. Hopefully we can embarrass the hell out of her

 

Depending on how many people there are at the mall..the 501st doesn't usually get very far very fast. We usually do at least half if not 3/4 of the mall. But......there's lots of stopping for pics and stuff so we usually just go however far we can all make it and then call it a day.

 

I may have missed a post, but where are we all meeting? and at what time?

yeah there will be stopping as well and maybe grabbing a drink if at all possible,

 

Just wondering guys, for those who ride the bus, what to you do about your MR Sabers? If we get a place for that kind of stuff at the mall then I can bring it in the box, but if not I need to transport it in something else. I thought that maybe I could just wrap it in a garbage bag or something.

I've put mine into a kite sleeve before... its a cool purple and a nice soft fabric so as to not damage anything.

 

I just transport mine in the box.

 

I'm in. Hopefully, I'll finally have this new costume done by then, but if not, I'll be in my robes. Speaking of which, I should get back to my sewing...

 

That is what I will do if we have a room. But if not I am thinking of how to transport it. I will probably just wrap a garbage bag around the bottom of it, or just take it as is.

 

I might come to this just to get out, but I may have to cancel... we'll see... but don't count on me.

I know the 501's are still finding out about a chnage room but I'm thinking worse case, we don't get one we meet at the HMV stage, Any other ideas?

 

The HMV stage is as good a place as any. What time?
