West End Games sourcebooks

Alright, I've got a handful of questions, and I figured this was the best place to post 'em.

I'm an avid collector of the old-time West End Games sourcebooks, and I'm trying to get 'em all. I've got around 25 of them, but my sources are running dry. I know a lot of 'em that I don't have, and the bibliography in the Star Wars Encyclopedia lists a bunch. Here are the questions:

1. Does anyone know of (or have) a complete list of every WEG supplement and sourcebook?

2. Does anyone know of any (preferably reliable) place to buy them? Amazon.com has some backordered, but they're absurdly expensive. I've been buying a lot off of Half.com, but I've bought them out. Does any have any for sale?

3. Does anyone know exactly what HAPPENED to WEG? They were the most successful RPG company as of 1998... and then they fell off the face of the earth. What happened?

have you tried e-bay. they seem to have a lot at pretty good prices (sometimes)

 

I've looked at eBay, but it isn't exactly what I call "reliable", all the time. Sure, I use eBay a lot, and I haven't been screwed yet ( ::knocks on wood:: ), but I was looking for something more "reliable". I recently bought every single one Half.com carried.

 

Well, I did some digging, and discovered that there's around 116 WEG books for the d6 Star Wars RPG. Thanks for your help, all.

 

Try some game stores. I live in Northern VA and the Game Parlor in Chantilly has a lot of old WEG stuff. I mean, a LOT.

 

I only need 20 more books to complete my collection of the WEG stuff. I have all of the WotC stuff right now, except for the just-released Dark Side Sourcebook.

 

Try going to gaming conventions. GenCon just happened and I picked up about 16 books that I didn't have there were a ton more but I didn't have room to bring more back. WOTC has a buch of different convetions and they normally have exhibit halls to by books etc.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I remember that I once saw a WEG-Sourcebook that is not on your list: Shadows of the Empire Planet(s) Guide.

 

I saw that too, in the SW Insider. Perhaps it was unreleased...?
