Hope you guys like the background... I'm still playing with the forum colours and trying to add more smilies... Bear with me, k?

 

Has everybody moved to this new forum cos i dont see many posts. Sorry havent been posting for a while so im quite blur about everything here....!

 

the other forum is fully operational.

but not all have moved i guess. so this forum will still be used

 

Both forums will co-exist... The new forum will be more for our local discussions while this one is for more universal discussions will our international friends... Though I'm still playing with the settings of the new forum, it's ready for use and it'll need contributions from everyone to make it informative...

 

Actually, I don't really see why we actually need another Fanforce forum. This one is where it all started and it isn't likely to crash or fold in the future (at least for a long time). Having two separate forums would only make discussions confusing. . . imagine having two discussions at two different places. It may be easy to lay down ground rules regarding posting issues, but in reality the order wouldn't be upheld.

 

I beg differ, Ted. The new forum will allow us to archive informative posts and do some tidying... It'll also minimize the need to answer similar questions over and over again, just because those threads were locked... I also wanted to create an area whereby our members can feature themselves... a personal space to create a stronger sense of belonging...

Now... Can you get your butt into the new forum so that I can make you a Moderator?!?!

Desmond - Haha are you trying to gloat me into joining the forum? Okay I've signed up; I guess we can give it a shot. A forum can only survive if the members are active on it, so we should concentrate on that if we want it to be as successful as this Fanforce forum.

I think you're right regarding the point that we will have complete control over our own forum (I think Fatimah only has minimal control over this one), so that's one good thing.
