What´s the best track in AOTC CD? **SPOILERS**

I think this is a very interesting question.... I would like to know your answers. Only ONE track. The one you think is the best one.

I love the Tusken Camp and Homestead track.... You can hear it and imagine exactly what´s going on on it.... You can hear and imagine Anakin´s Devastation on the Homestead... I just love it... I can´t wait for my Novel to arrive and of course for the movie...

My favorite track would have to be "Zam the Assassin and the Chase Through Coruscant". It's an amazingly energetic track and the drums and electric guitar will really compliment the scene.

 

I was gonna say Zam the Assassin, but I think I'm going to have to go with Love Pledge and The Arena.

I'd have to say "Love Pledge and The Arena", also.

But . .

The "Love Theme" has been stuck in my head ever since I heard it, so I'll have to choose that one.

As for "Zam The Assassin and The Chase Through Coruscant", it has my vote for the Worst Thing In A Star Wars Film, Ever Award. The way that some people feel about Jar Jar, I feel about this song. Whoever decided that an electric guitar riff (and a badly played one, at that) had ANY place in a Star Wars film should be banned from the ranch. It makes my skin crawl, and that's not easy to do when it comes to me and Star Wars. This is coming from a guy who loves TPM.

It's really too bad. Aside from that, the soundtrack is great . . and the film looks to be one of the best in the entire series.

But the guitar riff is unforgivable.

Zam the Assassin and the Coruscant Chase is my favorite track. Love Pledge and The Arena just doesn't do much for me, it's just a slow buildup to the real battle music of AOTC (and left out of the CD, of course).

That guitar riff rules! And I love how the Coruscant motif makes it in as well.

 

Believe it or not, the one I'm hooked on at the moment is The Meadow Picnic. And Georgedamn me, it's because it reminds me of.... the music from The Holiday Special. Anybody else think of that? While I'm blaspheming I might add that parts of it in the middle remind me of Battlestar Galactica music. Plus at about 3:40 I get a weird feeling that Kouhuns are crawling up my bedspread.

I also really love the last 35 seconds or so of Jango's Escape.

Oh and the electric guitar bit? I hate it. Terribly un Star Wars and too Jesus Christ Superstar for me.

I'd say Track 13's "Confrontation with Count Dooku and Finale". Chills literally ran down my body as I heard the Prequel Trilogy's first GRAND statement of the Imperial March, which segues into a grand, tragic rendition of the Love Theme, which segues into Star Wars End Titles, which segues into a combo of the Love Theme, Anakin's Theme, and the Imperial March. WHEW!!! Left me breathless!!!!

 

I LOVE Return to Tattoine. The new version of Binary Sunset going into Duel of the Fates. WOW!

 

The Love Theme. I'm still not sure whether or not to call it "Across the Stars" or not.
