Well, I know most of you don't know me very well. But I guess I'm just looking for sympathy.

I woke up this morning to find that all 4 of my tires and wheels where missing and truck was sitting on some rocks from the Apt. Drainage.

Police came and dusted for prints but they wore gloves so no prints to be found. I dont know why they would want stock alloy wheels and 3 month old tires. So now I get to get a rent a car for a few days, pay a deductable with money I dont have and generally hate life.

Looking for pitty. Somebody pick me up and buy me a drink. I'm gonna need it. lol

Hope everyone else's day was good.

I too could use a drink, I'm in the east valley, and thirsty. Whatcha' think? Work in old town scottsdale, live in chandler. Let me know.

big bummer on the tires. It is truely amazing what people will steal. Somebody broke into a convertable mustange and stole the radio, but they cut the wires right behind the deck (instead of unplugging the harness) so it will be useless (unless they can splice really short wires. AND.. they stole the battery. Which was really bad. So bad that the positive cable had fused to the post. Now get this, they cut the power cable to the battery. Guess it's a good thing for them the battery was dead, otherwise there might have been a crispy teenage thief in my drive way. They did save me some work, I suppose.

C'mon over to the Tavern, KREATOR. We'll find something there to take the sting out of that one.

Man! People just have no respect for other people's property. First Bunny's bunny and now this . . .

Apparently, there was a party or get together. I think it was in June. And somebody stole Bunny's bunny that is on his antennae(sp?)

He's replaced it, all is well. :)

EDIT: Bunny, if I got the details wrong . . . chime in!

I ******* hate thieves. I've had my car broken into twice, and my stereo stolen one of those times. Amp, sub, and CD player, all gone. I not only sympathize, I empathize.

You're okay Scott, you're responding to a need instead of saying "look at me and give me money."

    Sorry to hear that Ryan.

Thanks Greedo. Insurance compamy already towed me(flatbedded...lol) to thier shop. Im at the mercy of them now I guess. I only have to pay $250. tires, rims and whatever other damage they did go well over that. I should have a rental tomorrow (I hope). Hopefully it wont take long. I will miss my MP3 CD player..back to standard CD's for a while (if it even has a CD player)

If you think that is bad , When I lived at my apartment I left a Bag of dirty laundry in my truck that I was going to take to my folks so I could wash it.Somebody pryed my window open and took it ,then they sifted it out into piles .I got it back but they stole dirty stinky laundry. The only thing makes it funny thefact that my socks and under wear were sitting on top.So i guess that makes us even.

Since I've lived in AZ most of my life, Tucson, nogalas, Prescott, Phoenix, chandler I would say that any city in AZ could be considered the armpit. But it's still better than Jersey.

Yeah...I have a crapy Ford Escort Rental car now. I get to find out what my knee's taste like.

They didnt take 6'5 people into consideration when designing these things. Oh well, at least I can get to work and around now.

hopefully only a few days and I'll be back to my normal ride.

Reaper . . . right now Tucson is NOT high on my list of favorite places. I'm to the point where if it wasn't for the cold I'd rather be in Jersey!!!

    Or at least Phoenix!!!

I had a screw in the corner of the front-passenger tire for a while.
It finally blew coming out of the driveway one morning.
To make it worse, the bolts are covered by a plate. the plate is held on by 1 screw.
    That screw was stripped.
So I left it at home, borrowed my mother's car & went to work.
I returned home to a $212 bill paid by my grandfather & 2 new front tires. (big O not cheap, they are 16" rims)
Next morning, walk to car in front of house.
    Rear passenger tire, dead flat!
    Small natural hole in sidewall.
    OK, this one came off.
    put on donut tire.
Started car & stepped on gas to go...
    very little vroom vroom.
    GREAT!!
Luckily, I worked in a sign shop that sells alot to car dealers & stuff.
Got great deal on 2 back tires.

Then, Went to Autozone, got free engine diagnostic.
    Multiple misfires.
Bought 6 spark plugs & wires.
Guy at sign job helped put them in.
    It helped, but same problem.
Put enough Fuel Injection cleaner into car to kill a small country.
again, helped but still problem existed.

Then,a mobile car repair guy came by for magnets for his truck.
looked at my car & couldnt figure out what was wrong.
That week, I went to scott's house.
Jeremy looked at it & said it was the Coil pack. (Moe also said it was a possibility by phone)
Repair guy charged $30 for part, magnets paid price of labor.
    That sunday after all this...
Car overheats on way to choad's.
Discover Coolant reserve tank is severly cracked. I've been losing coolant for who knows how long.
Same guy, $30 more & 1 more magnet later...
    Car finally happy.
