    Cripes not another one.

Who was it (apart from Jon) who fancied Cat Deeley? Was it Bash?

EDIT: No, he fancied Gail Porter. Who fancied Cat Deeley then?

Well I'm happy that people are sticking with UK accents and that no one has said that they hat Canadian accents. I hate most american accents, just cuz they're annoying (well, the ones from like "alaBAma"...if you know what I'm talking about...).
I also just don't like accents that I can't understand what the heck the people are saying.
But....I LOVE UK and aussie accents.

Someone called me that the other day. What exactly does it mean? Not that I'm not getting the obvious negative meaning, just curious.

    And I don't think they're the same.

    It's like Treker and Trekee.

    Both are prestigious and insulting.

Tonight Matthew, I'm going to be...

    Dictionary Guy!

    //Applause//

hose beast n 1. an undesirable female, either by her appearance or personality. (This must have another meaning if it was applied to you ;) )

hoser n 1. a moron, dim-wit, loser, or person of questionable lineage.

    :D

No, no, considering who said it, I'm sure he meant it to be as insulting as you've described.

Yes indeed... the UK is replete with a wonderful array of different and exciting accents... (!)
With my unholy fusion of a Canadian and Yorkshire accent, most people think I'm Irish.
    Go figure.

    There are worse fates!
When I went down to Devon last weekend for SW Day VI, the amount of people who said stuff like: "You're not from round 'ere are you?" was amazing. Mind you... I get that wherever I go!

Scourge: my dad's from around Yorkshire, so that's kinda funny that people say you have a mix of canadian and yorkshire accent. My grandma said that when they came here, my dad was doing a combination of a british/canadian/american/australian accent. lol. (I have no clue what that would sound like).
He still has his british accent and uses it every time he talks to someone british (which means every time he talks to my grandparents. lol).
