Do you mean Cat Deeley? You know I've never even noticed
Cripes not another one.
Who was it (apart from Jon) who fancied Cat Deeley? Was it Bash?
EDIT: No, he fancied Gail Porter. Who fancied Cat Deeley then?
me me me
Yeah she's not bad
Well I'm happy that people are sticking with UK accents and that no one has said that they hat Canadian accents. I hate most american accents, just cuz they're annoying (well, the ones from like "alaBAma"...if you know what I'm talking about...).
I also just don't like accents that I can't understand what the heck the people are saying.
But....I LOVE UK and aussie accents.
As long as you like the English accent your ok
No likie American accents?
Is Hoser the male equivalent of Hose Beast ?
Someone called me that the other day. What exactly does it mean? Not that I'm not getting the obvious negative meaning, just curious.
And I don't think they're the same.
It's like Treker and Trekee.
Both are prestigious and insulting.

Tonight Matthew, I'm going to be...
hose beast n 1. an undesirable female, either by her appearance or personality. (This must have another meaning if it was applied to you )
hoser n 1. a moron, dim-wit, loser, or person of questionable lineage.
No, no, considering who said it, I'm sure he meant it to be as insulting as you've described.
Well, as far as I know....Canadians are called Hosers all the time.....but I sure hope no one thinks I'm a hose beast....
Nahh don't think that about you
Oi, Becky, what the sweet damnation is wrong with the NI accent!? Grrrrrrrrr
And cat Deely... large portion please
aww I love an Irish accent or Scottish I just don't like the Welsh accent
Yes indeed... the UK is replete with a wonderful array of different and exciting accents... (!)
With my unholy fusion of a Canadian and Yorkshire accent, most people think I'm Irish.
I thought mine was bad SOMEONE says I am starting to sound more northern than cockney
There are worse fates!
When I went down to Devon last weekend for SW Day VI, the amount of people who said stuff like: "You're not from round 'ere are you?" was amazing. Mind you... I get that wherever I go!
I get that too
You should try it with my accent.
Scourge: my dad's from around Yorkshire, so that's kinda funny that people say you have a mix of canadian and yorkshire accent. My grandma said that when they came here, my dad was doing a combination of a british/canadian/american/australian accent. lol. (I have no clue what that would sound like).
He still has his british accent and uses it every time he talks to someone british (which means every time he talks to my grandparents. lol).
becky i'm from Ballymena too, and no one i know talks/shouts like ian paisley!!!
as for most hateful it has to be scouse.
then im sure you would hate my accent then *sigh* im not from alabama im from georgia and have lived in the UK for over a year now though i am very good at hiding my accent i have most people believing im from Canada if you can imagine that though on the one trip i made back home to visit my parents my husband couldnt stop saying that he was suprised that all it took was me stepping off the plane at the Atlanta airport and my southern accent came back he said where have you been hiding that sound i said i dunno hes english and he and his family love to hear me talk dont ask me why cause ive not quite figured that out yet
