The blonde pic didn't load last time - trying again
Sorry, it did but still ...
I've upset myself now and not in the good way that a picture like that would usually upset me
Several parts of me will be devastated if Katie isn't in Star Wars.
How about Emilia Clarke from game of thrones anybody mentioned her yet? She'd make a good Jedi
I still haven't seen that yet but I hope to get Season One off iTunes for Christmas - I believe Clarke is a leading contender to play Sharon Carter (I'd put money on that) in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
I mentioned her here...
This thread is pretty much the reason I drop by...
... more pics please
Just a tip for the less internet savy, those boxes that don't show the pictures can still be seen just right click and hit "view image" and it take you to the website that is hosting the picture and the picture itself, so you can still see them, they just won't show up in thread.
Now I am surprised nobody has said who this is
I thought of someone who'd be amazing as a villain -- perhaps a fallen Jedi or Sith Witch.
Lara Pulver. I know her as Irene Adler from Sherlock.
Lonely Girl 15 ???
I dunno - she pretty freaking annoying in her first appearance In Doctor Who.
I know she can only do what the script says but I am not looking forward to her playing the next companion.
Honestly, Matt Smith is the perfect Doctor and Gillan and Darvill were the perfect companions but Moffat is masking a train wreck of Doctor Who.
And she was good in it.
I had expected disaster because of her performance in BBC's Robin Hood but was presently surprised.
Not just her mind you - pretty much everything was terrible about that Robin Hood, but Pulver in Sherlock, Armitage getting the other lead role in The Hobbitt and the kid who played Scarlet getting into Fgame of Thrones it shows Robin Hood as being one of those examples of a project where you genuinely cannot blame the actors for the trash they have to spout
Well said! And not to get too far off topic -- I didn't really start watching Ssherlock until Season 2. Pulver was smoldering as Adler and hooked me in. Then I watched all the episodes and am a HUGE fan of the show. Its phenomenal. I really never gave Sherlock Holmes much consideration but updating the show to modern times was brilliant. I love it.
Incidentally, CBS ripped off the idea and does a similar show set in New York with Watson played by Lucy Liu. I won't even watch it.
I saw the first episode of the CBS one. Complete MEH.
Wasn't even terrible - if you follow me. It was just another cop show.
Not clever and not even an updating of the characters - Cumberbatch and Watson ARE Holmes and Watson in modern times.
On the American one, Miller is just some smelly guy dresses like a tramp and spends 40 minutes trying to solve a crime the viewer cracked reading the blurb in a tv guide. Liu's Watson has even less similarities.
I'm not even British and I take offense to us Americans taking a literary, cultrual icon like SH and making him a transplanted American. I won't even bother wasting my time and frankly hope the show doesn't make it to a second season. In the meantime I can hardly wait for Sherlock Series 3.
The only reason that dumb CBS version of Sherlock exists is because the SHERLOCK with Smaug and Bilbo is so awesome. That American show is just an over rated cop show with two characters who happen to share the names of two British detectives. They could have named them something else, but they didn't...that show simply doesn't matter. Now while I was rattling on about a non-related topic, there were lots of pictures of young hot chicks that I wasn't able to look at it. Lets fix that:
Christina Ricci as a sith witch...
Now look above the necklace
She can't be a Skywalker, but she would make heck of a Jedi or Sith
Oh man that's Sideous head talking at the end, too funny.
Nah I went and checked the original it's how it is shown, but for a second.
He is a transplanted Brit in the show.
And you don't need to be a Brit to be offended, just a literate human being.
If the show was brutally bad is would be something, but based on the pilot it just a lifeless waste of time. Nothing remotely Holmesian in it.
Could be a long wait for Sherlock 3.
I still can't believe the Beeb aren't doing another Dirk Gently season.
Huzzah for me.
I should be rewarded with more hot chick pics
How do you spell Homer's drooling sound?
Does anyone know how to post images using a iOS device?
