Later folks - have fun.
Then this thread might qualify for a sticky pin, because it is beating out 4 out of the 5 sticky pins above it, up to the mods of course
It might be locked by the time you get back, if it derails any further
Maybe we should just focus on head shots for a while, to calm things down a bit. Here....
I don't think it would ruin it. People like me that never liked Firefly or ever watched the Termiator show won't have that strong connection with her to those shows. Besides, the fact that those shows were cancelled pretty much say that they weren't largely watched except by a few die-hard fans. Summer Glau is more a cult figure than a huge superstar -- relatively unknown to the country en masse. I don't think it's a problem.
Great point! Harrison Ford, Ewan McGregor, Samuel L. Jackson, Liam Neeson. None of these A-list actors ruined SW for me. I thought they were all wonderful in their roles.
Do you not see the irony?
Wait! What? It's Wednesday -- you get to start your weekend already? Lucky you know what!
Madison Pettis about 14/15
If you want young with good long term potential
Jackson i have a problem with, especially as he really just plays himself with a lightsaber. He's entertaining, but he's still Sam Jackson in the PT to me.
Given Liam Neeson is very famous now, reacting to Qui Gon is different to when TPM came out and he wasn't such a name (I didn't know who he was at the time). Same with McGregor who was only "that guy from Trainspotting" back then.
I accept Ford is Han because he was Han to me before I saw Indiana Jones, so he is both. He is suitably different in each role for me to accept him as both. Someone like Summer Glau is the same in everything.
Orlando Bloom would be the same, because he's been in Pirates of the Caribbean & LOTR I would have trouble seeing him in Star Wars.
It is doable of course, if an actor is good enough they can make you believe they are wo they are supposed to be. Bruce Willis works in many roles, although that may be in part because he has no hair now
She could play Luke's wife or Han's mistress. Leia could turn to the dark side upon finding her husband in bed with her and cutting her in half with her lightsaber! The Force hath no fury like a Jedi woman scorned!
Don't say head in here!
I think this is the most fappable thread ever (?)
That girl is at the top of my "list" - if ya know what I mean. If she were to be cast as a Jedi, well, I would be in some serious trouble indeed.
If we ever get a TFU movie... ^Juno Eclipse^
I don't know... but I could maybe see Allana looking a bit like this as a teen (If Allana backstory or existence isn't retconned which is certainly possible).
Another youngling type
Jadin Gould, she is 14/15 too and will be in the Man of Steel
Can you imagine the attention a Jedi teen female like this would get at Star Wars convention from the fanboys.
She might be sorry she took the role.
Just for you then, in black leather and lace, and it has the power to make new converts to support her too
A number of actors seem to be
All of these fine women should be in Episode VII. But they won't
Edit: darn photo vanished and it was too late to edit, well these won't.
Some have been wanting somebody very original, an unknown, this is as about unknown as it gets, she is a goblin in the Hobbit so you won't even see her. Kind of a waste, but whatever.
So I want to ask all those asking for a fresh unknown face, is this good enough in that category ?
Her other arm is kind of scary. I don't know if she'll work.
If her acting is good enough, I'm all for it
Nice @ at that pic.
Ugh, I hate duckface poses. In reality, people don't generally act like they're sucking on an invisible straw for no good reason.
Nah, I call it the pursed lips shot, it's not too bad, at least it isn't this....
Hey she could play a dissatisfied bar patron, in bar Luke visits....
