Today I was washing the dishes and for some strange reason the 'Palmolive' advert from years ago popped into my head. YOu know the one "Palmolive is mild on your hands while you do dishes!" Hmmm.....then I was led to 'Jiff' "First of it's kind and still the best was to buy 2 litres of dish washing detergent. Easy to take home, easy to throw away and easy on my purse, and I'm Sticking to it" How weird was that I thought to myself, how weird that these adds got stuck in my memory. I started to remember alot of other horrible adverts from my past, Louie the Fly, the old Colgate and the 'It gets in, like liquid into this chalk'. I began to wonder who else remembered adds and whether that reflects on either our minds or the success of the original campaign?
