What ANH hairstyle would you like?

Okay guys. Truly SW's greatest gift in transporting the 1977 audience out of their everyday world and into the magic of a strange and new galaxy was the hairstyles.



Okay, so maybe the ANH hairstyles are a little dated, but c'mon, we should show some love to this classic. So what ANH hairstyle do you think you might like to try out next time you're at the barber?



(For girls, since there's not much to choose from, you can report on which male hairstyles you find cutest. Heh.)


So what'll it be? Luke's shaggy cut? Tagge's close-cropped do? Whatever Biggs has got going on (don't forget the porn star mustache!)?


Me... well, I already have Chief Bast sideburns goin' on. But maybe I could make them a little longer and a little sleeker... rein in my unruly coiffure a bit... and voila, BoShek!

i may be a dude, but i am comfortable enough with my sexuality to dawn the buns

 

Funny thing is, I was growing my hair out thinking it would look like Luke's in ANH. Instead, it looks like Anakin's in the latest pictures that came out with his long hair.

Sometimes I look like Boromir, these days. Okay, wrong forum. Up until I was 16, people in school called me Chewbacca - but they were dumb, anyway.
I don't think I want to try out Leia's sidebuns. What I'd love would be the hairstyle she had in the Ewok Village

 

well I have long hair and the buns don't really appeal to me so I wear my hair like Leia at the very end of ANH with the bun and braid. nobody reconizes it really they just go "thats so cute!" I smile very tightly and go thankyou through gritted teeth.

 

I used to like Han's hairstyle, but Chewie's wasn't bad either. But a receding hairline has prompted me to choose differently. So nowadays I'd have to go with the Motti-look (darn!)

 

Leia's hair at the end of ANH was pretty cool.

 

I grew sideburns and longish hair during the summer.

 

Actually, after I saw TPM I began to grow my hair out and after two years I wore in in a half pony-tail like Qui-Gon. Then I needed a job after I lost the one I had and felt that I needed to cut my hair so that someone would, perhaps, hire me.

So, I had a padawan braid haircut like Obi and Anakin had in the respective movies where they had such braids. But, that only lasted two days because, well, I needed a job and didn't want to have to explain the padawan braid. But, I guess the braid was modeled after Anakin in Ep. II.

So . . . I have had an Ep. I haircut and and Ep. II haircut I'll have to see what the Ep. III hairstyles are like and get one before I can get an Ep. IV haircut.

However, to answer the question, I guess when I do it eventually I will have to go with Tarkin's haircut.

He really does look pretty slick.

 

I've decided to wear a hood from now on, so that way I can shave my head and have people assume I still have hair.

Luke- my hair actually looks like his. Same color and everything. Then again, people tell me I kind of look like Anakin so I'm just that much cooler than you...
