I think a requirement for being a Lit Mod is you have to be extremely sexy. Or is it becoming a lit mod makes you extremely sexy?

A little bit of both, actually. :)

And put in "sexy" for "old, fat and ugly"

(That does not apply to JMT, Bria, Lumpe or Katya.)

I'm too sexy for my shirt, to sexy for my shirt
    So sexy it hurts.

And I'm to sexy for my LAN, To sexy for my LAN
    New York and Japan!

And a mod and you know what I mean
And I do my little turn on the comms
yeah on the comms, I shake my little tush
    on the comms!

In all seriousness, I believe the mods do a good job at keeping this place going. Unfortunately they dont get much recognition outside the JC but who knows maybe they will someday. Who knows maybe when they put a zagats guide for the internet the Force.net will score a five for your hard work and dedication.

We get a ton of recognition outside of here in a number of SW messageboards. Almost 100% are attacking, mean, and definitely far from flattering. I'm aware of most and I'm sure this post is going to be mocked as well. I'm also aware of the JC'ers who smile to our faces here and let us have it elsewhere. But we knew that going in. So if you like being called just about every name under the sun despite your efforts here, then maybe being a mod is for you. :)

That is okay Liz, you can keep the Rogue squadron books, they sucked anyways. All I need in my personal EU libary are Children of the Jedi, The New Rebellion, The Crystal Star (Go Waru!) and Planet of Twilight and I'm one happy mod. There are no greater EU stories in existance than the four told in those books.

    :p

I think I got sexier when I became a mod, though I'm not too certain.

Mr44, how did you find out the truth about Ghenghis? Who told you?

**Shines light in 44's face** Answer me!

Well, I could say it was Timothy Zahn, but THAT revelation would probably cause the implosion of the internet... [face_mischief]

ummm, so I'll just use the excuse that always works.. Dp4m did it..

i've always imagined Vertical as Optimus Prime, Sapient as a talking banana, YodaJeff as someone with too many Yoda toys, jp-30 as a gardener, Katya_Jade as Trinity, jedi-mind-trick as a rockstar, and Darth_Dagsy as a giant pile of dog crap (i kid)

tell jokes? you do realize that is normal conversation for them, right? all the humour has gone out of it and they merely repeat old jokes told by people they've banned.

The only benefits that mods have is the satisfaction of serving others. It is a voluntary job.
