Nash, TN What are We Doing for March???

Not to throw a wrench into anyones plans but as I stated before Major events are zooming in fast and if this club wants to be organized they need to plan in advance, if you want to play games thats fine also but count me out for now because my calendar is starting to get full. As a 501st member and officer I travel allot all over the 4 states we are comprised of in addition to a few other Garrison events outside our area and of course Cel 3 in Indy.

Next weekend the 19th of Feb we have a Boyscout fair in Huntsville

the following weekend the 25-27 we Have a prop party at a members house in Dover.

March 18-19 GalaxtiCon in Chattanooga and the Atlanta Parade

March 22 Clone Wars DVD release costume event Nashville?

April 1-3 MidSouthCon in Memphis

April 21-24 Celebration 3

May 7th Free Comic book day event Clarksville

May 18/19th Movie release Nashville

May 20-21 Movie event in Shelbyville

And more stuff.....

As you guys can see a few of these events such as the Clone Wars DVD release, Free comic day, Movie release, and shelbyville movie event will all be attended by Nashville fanforce members. Things need to be planned well in advance.

I checked out the site for Laser Quest (the one on 2nd Avenue downtown) and got the hours:

Wed/Thu: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Fri: 4 p.m. to midnight
Sat: noon to midnight
Sun: 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Mon/Tue: Available for Private Group Events (might be worth looking into)

That is WAY too much Star Wars.

Getting the group to watch the final chapter of the saga is a given. But, if we're gonna make an event of it,then plans DO need to started very soon.

 

I agree. To be realistic, you won't be able to get a straight answer out of theater management for at least another month. April at the earliest.

I agree about having two meetings per month for the next 2 months. It will give the group time to gather new members, plus give everyone a chance to make one or both of the meetings. One could be just a fun meeting, ie. lasertag, bowling, etc... & one could be a sit down dinner meeting to discuss the line-party or anything else Star Wars related.

 

Only 2 weeks left in February...
